“Good quality product...as described. I would have given 5 stars, but unfortunately the delivery company used were a disaster....not the first time I have had appalling service from U.K. Mail”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with UK Mail. We're constantly reviewing which couriers we send out items with. Unfortunately we only have a very limited number of couriers to choose from due to the awkward nature of our products.

“Stunning beam, ordered 5ft shaped in Danish oil finish and it's beautiful! Very quick from order to delivery, not even a week..ordered on a Wednesday and received on the Monday! Very happy, would recommend again and again!”

“I ordered a 3.5ft x 3” danish oil stained beam. Within a week I received my product and couldn’t have been happier with the result. Lovely piece of wood with some nice knots and splits. Looks fantastic. Was easy to mount using the fitted keyhole hanging brackets. Just needed to add my own plugs and screws. Highly recommended.”

“I would just like to say how very pleased I am with the oak fireplace Mantle beam. I was concerned as I'm not confident buying on line but it has arrived and it is everything I wished for. It's exactly like the one in the photograph and I'm chuffed to bits. My husband has put it in situ now and it looks lovely . I'm looking forward to Christmas so I can put lights or a bough along it. I couldn't believe how quick it arrived and it came within the hour specified . Once again thank you . Kind regards Irene Wright”

“Excellent well prepared piece of Oak. I had mine finished with Danish oil so I can easily re-nourish it myself. Advised by phone when delivery would be due. Everything turned out fine. I will email a picture when the project is complete for the gallery. Nigel Ringwood.”

“We have just taken delivery of an Hand crafted quality piece of Kiln Dried Solid oak wood, for use as a floating shelf, Which has been specifically designed by ourselves, For use on a feature wall. After searching locally and the internet not many companies were able to meet our requirements, This is where Traditional Beams stepped in, So after a couple of telephone conversations and the submitting a drawing, (via email), Traditional Beams came up with the required goods, at a price that was acceptable. To say that we are totally satisfied is an understatement, the attention to detail in the quality of wood and to match the additional corbels, is excellent. Considering this is classed as a distance sale (200 Miles or so) First i was a bit dubious, because of the distance, to commit to the purchase, due to the quality of wood i would receive, and attention to detail,and along with a time factor, There was really no need to worry at all, David came through with quality workmanship. I would Highly recommend Traditional Beams to supply quality products at competitive prices to anyone, including Family and Friends”

“My beam looks lovely in my newly renovated flat. Its been so sparse for a long time and now the beam really makes it feel like home. I cant wait to cover it on decorations at christmas, it will look fantastic!”
