Hi Laura, I have checked our emails and we do not have anything from you. I can see you ordered a colour sample which was posted 1st class via Royal Mail on the same day, sorry to hear you have not received it, unfortunately on rare occasions post can go missing which is out of our hands. If you had of contacted us we would have sent another one straight away. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

“The beam itself is really lovely and looks great. When we went to fix it to wall two of the screws that were used for mounting hooks were sheared off. So we had to actually chisel into wood in order to move the fixings so a new screw could be used. So maybe better quality screws would be my only suggestion.”

“Great beam, nice natural finish to the shaped Jacobean, nice feature natural split. But could have been packed better. It didn't arrive damaged but it could have had more packing around it to have made sure. We all know what couriers can be like and this was a very heavy piece. Time span for delivery a little over what was discussed but overall happy”

“Fantastic customer service from Traditional Beams! I purchased 2 oak shelves, one of which was slightly damaged in transit. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until some time after the delivery guy had left, so it was not noted on their paperwork. I reported it to Traditional Beams Customer Service department along with some photos of the damage and they immediately offered to replace the shelf or give me a partial refund plus some wood stain and lacquer to affect my own repair. I couldn't be happier with the service I've received and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.”

“Great service as with previous order my client was very happy. And even though they may look expensive to the general public as a wood worker of forty years plus I can say they are not. The cost of dried Oak plus the labour if I had to make one for a client it would be more expensive. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.”

Hi Simon, thank you for your review! It's really nice to hear you can recognise the quality and quality of our timber. Our oak is air dried for between 3-5 years which is what you need when installing above a fireplace to avoid any movement/warping and our prices reflect the quality :) Thank you for your recommendation and we look forward to seeing you again in the future!
