“I was searching for 8mm shank router bits. Found them at Tooled Up at a fair price with prompt delivery. So far so good and I will use Tooled Up again to see if they're as good as them seem. Private company and not giant corporate so I like that as well.”

“In a word, at best sloppy. I only hope that investing in what’s claimed to be the real-thing Black & Decker battery turns out to be worth it. Worst packaging I’ve ever seen in the last ten years and no paperwork at all. Unimpressed.”

“Excellent service and great stock! The courier messed up - no fault of Tooled-Up - and not only was I able to speak to someone there (a rarity in these days of chatbots and auto responders) but she did everything she could to resolve the issue, on a Saturday morning! Problem solving is the key to good service so I’d have no hesitation in ordering again.”

“This review reflects comments I have made to Sales via email. After placing my order and not having any notification of shipping after 4 days (3 working days as the order was placed over the weekend) I decided to use the tracking link included in the confirmation of order email. This required me to create an account as I'd placed the order as a guest. When I tried to create the account a message popped up that my email address was already in use. I contacted Sales via email querying this and requesting an order update. In the meantime as my address was apparently already on the system I decided to try logging in and then using the 'Forgot password' link to allow me to generate a password. This proved successful, allowing me to log into my new account. It then occurred to me that the email address was probably on the system because I had entered it as part of the billing information. This was subsequently confirmed by Sales. I quote: "When placing an order as a guest, your email address is stored against the order for communication and confirmation purposes. In some cases, this can result in an account being created automatically with your email address, but without full details such as telephone number or address". I have pointed out that this is something that is likely to happen to other customers and the sales system needs to be amended to prevent it. It may be coincidence but it seemed that my intervention spurred Sales into action because the next day I received notifications of picking, packing and despatch in quick succession and the goods arrived the following day. Sales always responded promptly to my emails, even offering to update my details in the new account, and I am more than satisfied with my purchase.”

“I have a large box full of Bosch hole cutters but for my current project I needed a 48mm one - which I didn't have. Tooled-up had one in stock which arrived on time and the job was completed (boring a hole in 18mm steel plate). One can necver have enough tools and it is nice to find a supplier who can fill-in the blanks when necessary. Thank you.”
