“The chuck key I ordered for the Makits 3010 right angle electric drill is not correct. The centre shaft that locates in the chuck ahead of the gear teeth is too small. This will eventually lead to rounding off of the chuck teeth. The key is superior to the original in design apart from this, being made stronger in design. If the centre shaft had been the correct size I would have given it 10 out of 10”

“Tooled up delivered my order quickly, and it was competitively priced, but the number of e mails I have had from them for 1 item is ridiculous and asking for reviews over said item is completely OTT It has put me off using them again.”

“Paid a whole £1 extra to have the purchase delivered on a specific day, as it was for a birthday present, plus a case of someone being home to take the delivery, and although it was scheduled for the correct day, and I received confirmation of delivery being on that day, it was not actually delivered, and was delivered the following day.”

“The ordering online and the delivery service was totally spot on. The manual to explain how to use the machine was in adequate and when I phoned for Support, I was told to ring a different company. Fortunately the other company did a very good job and the guy on the other end of the phone was extremely patient and extremely helpful considering I wasn’t there customer. You must try to get this right if you want to get people to come to you again, I’ll think twice about it from now on. Thank goodness Handys.co.uk know what to do.”

“Very happy with the products and prices, but feel the delivery is a bit slow compared to other sites. My order took four days to get to me when others suppliers often deliver the next day. I also think the use of the Post Office for deliveries is a mistake - they tend to be both slow and unreliable. There are much better couriers to choose who provide proper tracking information and timed deliveries.”

“Overall they (Tooled Up) are good communicators. However be aware that free delivery means free delays!! I ordered hoping my order would get to me a day or two after despatch, but nearly a week on and I am still waiting. Nothing wa clear to me at the check out as to which courier would deliver to me. Anyway, I can't actually give a review on the product itself, as I don't have one to review!!”

“I recently (20th Jan) ordered a pressure sprayer, extendable lance (I need to reach up very high) and spare parts. I’ve received the sprayer and spare parts, but not the extendable lance, which I’ve been told I won’t receive until 20th Feb. I can wait for then, but won’t be able to test if it works until the lance arrives. If it doesn’t arrive, the other two items will have to be returned, as it won’t give me the reach I require.”

“The only real problem experienced was the packing. The box used was inadequate for the rigours of the carriers. Otherwise everything on the order was fine, and fortunately no real damage occurred to the goods. My previous order to you was well packed. D W Jeskins”
