“I was not impressed by my first purchase of lightweight bootcut leggings, I could see my flesh through the material. I sent them back and then purchased extra strong compression and sized up hoping that would help. Although the extra strong compression was good on the waist band the material below was also thin and see through and shiny. Unfortunately that means I have requested a refund. It's a shame because it's difficult finding long 34inch length bootcut leggings.”

“Sadly I was really disappointed with them. Everything looked fine but, when I tried them on the entire front crotch was completely see through. I'm very small, a size 8 and I think I could of afforded even a smaller size. I only felt compression on my stomach, nothing what so ever on the legs. And I'm used to wearing compression socks. Sadly, because they were see through in the front, I had to return them.”

“My daughter and I have been buying leggings from TLC for a few years and loved them , but recently purchased 2 pairs and not only is the material different so is the sizing . We both purchased the same style and size that we already have and had to send back as they are definitely not the same quantity.”

“I’ve given 2 stars because the delivery is fast and the returns process simple. But you have to pay to return whether it’s for a refund or exchanges, even though their website exchanges are free. But I was most disappointed in the product, I found the high waisted tummy control panel rolled down, but the waist band on the normal waist isn’t wide enough to stop it cutting in. I also found the finish was very shiny and I felt more like I was wearing thick tights. It’s a shame cos I really wanted them to be great.”

“I'm so sad about these. I've been wearing them for years and love loved them but something has clearly changed. The fabric is different and these slide down as you move and walk. The elastic has already started to go too when normally they've lasted at least a year before that happens. They are now just a sensory nightmare whereas the old ones were a joy to wear.”

“I want to start by saying I been a customer of you guys for a long time and have always gotten the best leggings ever they are not transparent and this last leggings I bought were see-through and running small I was not happy since I spent lots of money for the and have always had high expectations of this company. I would love to have someone contact me. I would be happy to send the leggings back. Thank you.”

“Compression not great and definitely not medical grade (I have medical grade products). I got a small and I am a size 10 (UK). I had no trouble getting on. Also they are a little see through. Not great!”

“I want to be clear that my 2 star review may not reflect the products as a whole but rather unique to my situation. I thought the Leggings I ordered were great quality and made of really strong material however I ordered the Extra Stronf Compression Leggings as I have issued with re-occuring blood clots in my legs and require the compression. I thought it would be great to step away from medical stockings and try these as they were extra strong compression however unfortunately the compression was just not sufficient and in fact I do own other sports leggings that i purchased for much cheaper than compressed more. I did use the size guide when selecting my size however maybe I needed to size down to get the desired compression. I would have returned them however there is a charge deducted from the balance for return and it acted as a bit of a deterrent to return them! It’s unfortunate that they didn’t work for me but as I say very strong and quality material for normal leggings!”

As we know everyone's body is different and that people can be a different sizes in different brands. We would normally suggest to try a size down if you are feeling a lack of compression. “This is my 4th pair of tlc I've purchased. I love the fact there are full tummy coverage aswell Unfortunately I can't seem to get it right with sizing. Size small is too small does not cover my tummy enough and Size Medium I don't feel enough compression which is really disappointing. I will be returning.”

“I really wish I could give a 5 star review, but unfortunately I cannot due to the quality of the product. Firstly, the customer service is 5 star. An agent on the live chat talked me through the products and help me choose the best for me, and when I needed an exchange, the agent on the phone helped me really well. The products however, I give a 2 star (3 star being a compromise). The first I ordered wasn't compressive enough (small size) and was too big, so I ordered extra small instead to get the compression. One of the 2 I ordered arrived with loads of tiny holes in them. I got a replacement. So, I have an extra small compression legging (pockets) in normal, and the same in a short leg. The inner thighs of the leggings bobble fairly quickly, and with body inclusive garments I would expect the thighs to be more robust. Furthermore, the compression is fine (I wouldn't say it's anything comparable to medical grade as the claims suggest), but to get a small enough size for the compression to be functional, the leggings end up a bit see through in the butt area. Finally, I have been wearing them for a short while, and when I went to take them off just recently, my nail went right through the fabric (my nails are filed, and not sharp). This was the same kind of hole the previous garments came with, so I would guess this weakness is a recurring issue. These garments are a reasonable price, but I have had cheaper that have lasted longer. I'm really sorry to leave this review, because this is such a lovely business with fabulous customer service, unfortuately I would either buy cheaper products from Sports Direct, or invest in medical grade/lululemon products for compression. This would have been the perfect mid price solution if the products weren't so flimsy.”

“I ordered the compression leggings as I wanted to wear them instead of compression socks. Unfortunately the leggings gave no extra support at all and fall down when worn. I contacted Customer Services over a month ago but sadly didn’t get any response”
