“Beautiful tiles with decent prices and purchasing was great with a spot-on delivery time. Actual delivery, less so. Turned up really late – so much so I thought they weren't coming and had gone out only for them to call once they had unexpectedly arrived - why they couldn't have called beforehand to give me an ETA I have no idea - then for my tiles to get dumped in the rain on my drive way. I attempted to return tiles I didn't need but found this to be fraught with issues - how can you return unopened tiles and then be expected to take responsibility if they get damage in return transit? Returning was prohibitively expensive with the suggested pallet return company so haven't bothered.”

Thank you for your review and rating. We are sorry to hear you didn't get any call regarding the time of your delivery. This is not an excuse but the whole pallet delivery network is under immense pressure that we are aware some customers are not getting the communication expected. The delivery is to kerbside only so the delivery driver wouldn't have taken them any nearer to your door. Regarding the returns process, we have one of the best returns policies for online tiles. We recommend returning tiles via a palletised service as we know, from experience, that using a courier company will result in many damages meaning the tiles are not returned in a resaleable condition and therefore not eligible for a refund.

“Tiles arrived on the day arranged. All in good condition and well packed. Lovely tiles and at least £20 a sqm cheaper than others similar to them in design. Very happy with my purchase.”

“Delivery was good, but charged £70 plus postage for returning tiles (another company only charged postage). Still waiting for refund! Will use the other company in future.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the tiles you ordered you felt were not suitable for your project and you had to return them. We do not charge £70 plus postage. We do not refund any charges for delivery and it is was free delivery we deduct a flat rate of £35 from your total refund towards the costs we have incurred initially delivering the order. The cost of sending the tiles back to us is the customer responsibility. Regarding the refund, until receiving this review we did not know you had sent the order back to our suppliers as you did not send us any correspondence or tracking details letting us know you were returning them. The return has been found in the warehouse this morning and your refund was issued.

Thank you for your review, rating and photo. The tiles look fab in your kitchen. Yes, we agree the cost of delivery for a small order is high. But due to the nature of the product and how fragile tiles are, all tile orders are wrapped to and sent on a pallet. All pallet companies charge on weight with the lowest being up to 250kg. So regardless of whether it is 1 box or 10 boxes, we are charged the same. We do subsidise this charge to the customer currently.
