My very first order placed with the Tomato Store and it was a fathers day gift. I ordered two products and only 1 was sent. Not the best first experience considering I spent over £30.

My order was sent to the wrong address because my billing address postcode was attached to the delivery address incorrectly. I discovered this when the delivery driver called to say he couldn’t find my house. I reported this to The Tomato Stall, they said they would re deliver the next day. The same thing happened not once but twice, despite me alerting them on both occasions that the delivery address notification from DPD was wrong. I was assured that the problem had been corrected. On the last attempt, no one from sakes returned my call/answered my messages…I could only raise someone from the accounts dept, who finally gave me a refund and and a free delivery. A waste of time, waste of good tomatoes and a costly mistake for the Tomato Stall…it makes me v nervous about using them again

Hi Samantha. The team once again send apologies for the multiple issue you had with your order. We had a rather complicated technical issue that week which proved very challenging to rectify. Please be assured this is not our usual high standard of great service.

Being regular customer I had never any problems but this time was my worst experience!i emailed many times I informed how driver has kept my Parcle unattended! I didn’t get any response from your customer service ! My Parcle was outside unattended ! When I received your email about delivery I have not received then I got photo of my Parcle on the porch ! Driver should press no10 doorbell!but he didn’t bother and live unattended on porch! Which is not my no 10 flat where he should be delivering! It was heavy box which I can’t lift !i contacted do they replied back with sorry !sorry can’t solved my problem ! I am paying for home delivery! Not anywhere in or outside Sinclair House! I am not allowed to use any space in Sinclair House area except my own flat no10! Harrow council rules I have to follow I can’t ignore rules for housing provided by Harrow council! I have to answer and apologies! All this have given me lots of stress and when Parcle bring in by kind person ! When I opened it was soggy because of cheese became watery and cheese soggy beg ruined my tomatoes! All are wet and and not appealing for my health ! I can’t take risk with my health! So again I informed your customer service and ask for complete refund ! Wet and soggy tomatoes and not edible! I dissatisfied with your customer service and disappointed that your don’t bother to reply ! Can you please reply back and refund my money please!

Ordered a box of tomatoes. Unfortunately, most of the tomatoes were overripe and were squashed when arrived, others went bad in next 2 days. So I only managed to eat only small amount of tomatoes from the box, the rest went to the bin. I won’t order it again, it was waist of money.

I purchased I delivery of tomatoes but received a dispatch note for a second the following week. I sent 2 emails and did not receive any response at all. Totally unacceptable and very disappointing.

Dreadful! I paid £26 (inc delivery) for a box of over-ripe, squashed and split smelly tomatoes. Most of them went to my hens then the rest in the freezer for soup in the winter. I could’ve bought nicer tomatoes for around £10 in Lidl tbh - the quantity for the amount paid was poor too! Never again! I emailed my complaint to the company and 48 hours later I have heard nothing! Terrible customer service too!

The following is an extract from an email I sent to you on 18/07/21: I purchase your 1.5kg Heritage Tomato Box on a regular basis through Ocado. The box with this morning's delivery contained tomatoes - with the exception of a few smaller ones - that were extremely soft with some already split and mouldy. However, one tomato, which weighed in at a whopping 462gms (!) was split where quite obviously fingernails had gone through, mouldy and completely rotten inside. This was placed in the box in a manner so that it was not immediately visible and was hidden by other tomatoes. This one tomato represents a third of what should have been the total weight of the box. The box was also underweight, which again happens regularly. This is a good product that I buy regularly, but is blighted by recurring quality control problems. I would be interested to know how this happened, as there is no way that this tomato in particular could have been placed in the box by accident: The sheer size alone would have made accidental inclusion impossible. I would advise that I have, on this occasion, requested a refund from Ocado, instead of - as I usually do - thrown the spoilt fruits on the compost. I attach a photo of this morning's box for your comments.". On the 11/08/21 I sent the following email: "Perhaps my email was overlooked, or you are all too busy picking outsize tomatoes. Regardless: I would appreciate a response from you.". The ability to attach a photo to this review is disabled for some reason. I am still waiting...

Firstly, the same situation as previously, I receive a regular delivery every fortnight. My payment is taken and 3 days later I have to chase them to find out when it will be delivered. Today I did not receive what I paid for? I have a repeat box of 1.5 kg pick and mix and looks like I received a box of vine tomatoes instead. These are cheaper. In my repeat order I already have 3 x 500g boxes of vine tomatoes.

First delivery came and all tomatoes were damaged i was sent another which was the same so will not be ordering again! These tomatoes are not cheep so I would expect better quality

Beautifully packaged and great variety however arrived 3 days after due date having sat in a warehouse over one of the hottest weekends of the year, and only a fraction was refunded compared to what was mouldy and unable to be used. I really wanted this company to become a regular for our household but their chosen delivery company are obviously not reliable, and their customer service failed to take seriously the impact of their product arriving half a week late and so reducing the useable time for the consumer compared to their claims on the website. If you want to charge a premium price, and market as a premium product, all parts of the service have to live up to that claim. On this occasion they did not live up to their claims nor treat me as I would expect in those circumstances. First and last order I'm afraid. Caveat emptor.

Received my heritage box this morning and what a huge disappointment the whole box were soggy and most were split open! Not one was good enough to eat on its own or in a salad,the only thing to do is cook them and you would have to do it straight away because they are so so ripe!! Total waste of money.

I get a repeat delivery every 2 weeks, I spend a small fortune. The tomatoes are mostly great, I often get very soft and frequently rotten ones in the bottom of the box. I decided to downsize to prevent squashed ones. The customer service, to date, has been good. Is it because I am now a loyal customer that my e-mails are ignored? My money was taken on Saturday for my next delivery, it is now Tuesday and I still do not know when I can expect to receive my tomatoes. This is a shame as I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. The experience was great, but the way I feel now, I shall cancel all future order.

This was my second order but infortunately the tomatoes were either split or soft. My first order was brilliant with a good selection of nice firm fruits.

I was really disappointed, I ordered the large variety box the tomatoes that arrived were warm and mushy. There were a bunch that had split and were starting to spoil. I chose to cancel my subscription as a result.
