“The selection was fantastic but sadly they were past their best within a day of receipt and I was (perhaps mistakenly) expecting them to last a few days, if not a week. I will try again at some stage.”

“I think I expected more flavour in the tomatoes. They tasted ok, just like M&S tomatoes. I guess I am spoiled with the tomatoes from my family‘s garden in the south of France.”

“The selection was beautiful as always. However. Quite a few of the tomatoes were very badly split and moulded within 2 days, which was very unfortunate. They went straight in the bin. The rest have been fine.”

“My first delivery this year was excellent and great to have your tomatoes again. The second lot were disappointing and very overripe and some had split. Hopefully future deliveries will not repeat this disappointing one.”

“I would give 5 stars for the taste of the tomatoes but, yet again, a number of the larger sized tomatoes arrived spilt as they’re over ripe. You can tell when you touch them so whoever packed them would see that too. I’m guessing the skins spilt en route because they were so soft, too soft to slice and messy. However the smaller toms on the vine were perfect. I’m happy to pay for the extra to enjoy such good quality tomatoes but disappointed when 6 of the larger ones were way past their best. It’s the second time this has happened”

“I bought 3kg of heritage box during the end of season sale, but was a bit disappointed. There're no green tomatoes and the other tomatoes didn't have sweetness... but they were fresh as normal supermarket tomatoes nothing special.”

“There was generally a good variety but some of the tomatoes were definitely overripe and others tasted bland, as if they had been refrigerated 😕 Overall, I enjoyed trying the different varieties. I would have liked to know more about each type though.”

“The tomatoes certainly looked beautiful and kept well for a few days. However I was disappointed by the taste that was lacking. It seems to me that the tomatoes had little exposure to the sun (not surprising at this time of the year) and as a consequence the taste was remarkably bland. I shall wait for the summer to try a new order.”

“We did think that the tomatoes on arrival felt a little soft, after discussing this with yourselves we found that heritage tomatoes are not known for their softness. We will be purchasing piccolo tomatoes in future.”

“My first time buying from this website These Piccolo Tomatoes were not very nice Almost had a sour taste Much sweeter when purchased from a shop I ended up blitzing them all to use a base tomato sauce I expected superior tomates Will not be buying again”

“We ordered a mixed 1.5kg organic box, but this time the mix was heavily biased towards very large yellow tomatoes, leaving few traditional red tomatoes. We also ordered green tomatoes for us to make chutney, but 80% have ripened and turned red within 48 hours. The San Marzano tomatoes are excellent though!”

“I love to buy local and/or UK products. I am bit disappointed about my experience with tomato stall. First of all my delivery arrived on my neighbour (I had a surgery on that week, so I couldn't get my box because it was heave (delivery company issued, I understood). About the products, I bought 3 kg of tomatoes, that arrived all ready to eat, very disappointed, I would love to have few days to eat that. Anyway I love the idea of the company just bit disappointed. By the way the tomatoes, aubergines, peppers are all very tasty and understood recycling packaging. The passata is 100% tomato but very acid.”
