“The only problem was that I had to wait in all day for the courier who eventually arrived late afternoon/early evening. Then he was on the phone and I had to wait while he finished his call.”

Hi Ray, I'm sorry you had a poor experience with our courier. This is obviously not something we want for our customers. We chose Interlink for their usually wonderful levels of service so it's sad to see that one person has let them down on this occasion. In terms of delivery time we do clearly state on our website that the free delivery provided on our laser measures can be any time between 9am-5pm. That said, the behaviour of the driver obviously leaves much to be desired. I will speak to Interlink personally and raise your points with them. Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and for helping us to improve our service to our other customers.

“Good information on the website. I was looking for a metric only tape to replace my no longer available Stabila. After 30 years of woodworking i didn't appreciate there were different classes (accuracy) of tape measures. You learn something new every day!! The Fisco tape is very comfortable in the hand. Quick delivery.”

Hello Ronald, thank you very much for leaving a review and for saying how good our service was. I'm really sorry to hear that Royal Mail let both you and The Tape Store down. If you can email us at info@thetapestore.co.uk we'd be like to hear whether they delivered late, whether the packaging was damaged on delivery or whether there was another problem with Royal Mail's service. We do actually offer a courier service (not with Royal Mail) but it is a little more expensive. Royal Mail do tend to offer us a good service that's both reliable and good value for our customers. Unfortunately they do drop the ball occasionally. If you can provide a little more info we'll put in a complaint on your behalf.

“Excellent service. I was looking for a good 8M tape and wanted to look beyond the choice one manufacturer which seems to dominates the DIY barns. The FISCO Big T tape is superb and made in the UK! Well worth the money. I'll certainly be returning to The Tape Store again.”
