“I recently bought a Leica Disto D110 which I admit is a bit of a toy for me. it is not truly tested as yet but first plays are very encouraging: distance to the tip of the dog's tail when sleeping in favourite basket position from the edge of desk is 4.189metres. No anti lase goggles are supplied but she took heed of my warning to look away whilst I fired the laser. Leaving aside that UPS got into a pickle in their warehouse over next day delivery which is free from the Tape-store and that their price was as keen as any I could find on the net it was the conversation I had with the fellow at the tape-store that made the difference. I was on for a D210 and in conversation found that the D110 is a bit cheaper, has blue-tooth and can be used in conjunction with Leica Sketch. It doesn't have as many buttons so it must be inferior (of course) and can't do Pythagoras theorem but ready calculators are to be found on the net and you just plug in the same two values. The point is the Tape-store were not just interested in the sale but took the time to help me make the right choice aside, that is from not buying it at all.”

Hi Anthony, what a great review! The Disto D110 is a great little tool with all the functionality the average user needs. We don't yet do a range of dog laser glasses but we'll be sure to mention it to Leica during our next conversation...!

“Excellent service. Courier was delayed (only by one day) but The Tape Store rang around for me and called me back with a time of delivery. My new Leica L2 is great. There is a test explained in the user manual of how to check accuracy. My unit is spot on.”
