“Wanted a private plate for my husbands birthday- as usual left everything to the last minute The private plate company just saved the day -telephone explained what I required they did everything before the birthday Bought the number plates from them which came within 48 hours . Did the paperwork so effectively . Highly recommend them .-”

“I didn't realise changing a vehicle registration was so easy, quick and cheap. My son phoned me as he was setting off on holiday in his van on a Friday before a Bank Holiday. He had just received a few penalty notices from a London borough (with more to follow no doubt). It was not his van however. Someone had cloned the registration. The only solution was to quickly change the van's registration. His girlfriend's flatmate sent me a mobile phone photo of his registration document by about mid-day. I phoned the Private Plate Company and sent in the photo, found a nice registration number and went ahead. To cut a short story even shorter, by 4.30 that same afternoon my son's van had the new number registered with the DVLA and I received a confirmation email from The Private Plate Company which I forwarded to my son so he could buy a new plate. All done in about half a day for about 180 pounds. Can't ask for more. Great service, nice on the phone, job done. Many thanks. PS: my son had reported the cloning to the police to challenge about 20 penalty notices (which he did successfully). On his way through Wales the same Friday the police actually pulled him up for driving with a cloned registration. All he did was explained the situation and they let him go. Nice work by the Welsh police though.”
