“Very smooth and fast service - didn’t have to worry about anything - I paid a little extra for all the admin to be done which was again smooth and very well managed! I’m so glad I decided to pay to have everything sorted out - number plate made and listed out too! Took all the hassle out of it and made it a very good experience! Very professionally managed thank you”

“Excellent service, sympathetic to the needs of the older generation making a purchase as a gift to a Grandson. My purchase included the "we will arrange the transfer with the DVLA service" and was made more than four months in advance of the crucial 18th Birthday. the Private Plate Company could not be faulted. The necessary paperwork was completed, on the due date, exactly as had been planned four months earlier. I was very impressed.”

“Plates were sent out too soon, not as stated on the instruction email. I asked for them to be changed from the ones I had selected as my partner didn’t like the style, and was refused, even though we still had not sent off the paperwork to change the plates. Overall efficient company but get your actual plates printed elsewhere and save money as they are over priced. I ended up doing this for half the price and even though I had paid out for the plates. Don’t try to surprise someone, make sure they check the plates first. The instruction/ process email is not accurate your plates are sent out straight away, no time to make any changes.”

Thanks for the review, but we are unable to change the style or design of the plates once they are made and dispatched to "your" specifications. It does clearly state that ordered cannot be cancelled or changed so as to prevent issues like this.

“Ordered for a 40th birthday surprise, ordered a month before needed thinking due to covid there would be a delay. The plates came within the week and the registration was done within 2 days of posting the log book. My partner loved his present and the service was second to none. Highly recommended”
