“Plates were delivered really quick. I bought the plate as an Xmas present. I received an email yesterday saying they had been registered and log book will be sent back to us as its a surprise present I'm now waiting for the post nobody explained how this would work. The email said plates could be put on the car but I stated I didn't want them on till 26th December confused I certainly am but other than that all ok ..”

This customer ordered a registration plate for her husband on 1st December. She explained that it was for a birthday on Boxing day. Once documents and ID had been received on 3rd December, we posted the acrylic number plates out so that they would not get caught up in the Christmas mail. As the registration was for Boxing day, we left the transfer until the very last possible time which was late on the 21st December so that it could be kept a secret and the V5 from DVLA would not arrive with the lady's husband until after Christmas even though it could be used on Christmas/Boxing day. We have done exactly what we were asked to do and have kept all our Christmas customers very happy. Its a shame this customer did not have the courtesy to call us and ask us to explain.
