“Bought a couple of power bank Keep Alive devices to work with a pretty standard Veger 30000 mWh battery pack. Unfortunately they didnt keep it alive. Bought two more devices with an adjustable setting which also didnt work. However they both worked with a smaller 10000 mWh power bank. Cheap enough to take a risk but dont hold your breath.”

“Excellent. Well packaged, arrived very quickly. Loving the computer. One suggestion -for a Pi500 the preinstalled Pi OS should be the 64bit Debian Trixie version not the old 32 bit version. Not a major problem to reimage the SD card but..”

“I'm somewhat less than impressed, I ordered a Zi-Stick to setup a zigbee controller on my Pi5, having lots of issues with it staying "Available" and hence the whole zigbee network, for more than a couple of hours. On googling this issue I'm directed to it being a known issue of interferrence from the usb ports on the Pi4 & 5 and it needing to be mounted at a distance on a usb extension cable. So now I'm waiting on a cable.”

“I had ordered Raspberry Pi5 and few other accessories from PiHut (order number - 1499536). Ordering process very smooth, all the products are clear with photos and descritions. Order arrived in record time, within one day. However, one of the items was missing a crucial component and I had to raise a complaint (request number #184449), describing the issue and sending the photo of what is wrong. The request was quickly updated and a new spare is being sent to me as I type this review. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Because this missing component should not have happened and someone from your end should have checked the product had the right components before shipping. This just highlights the issue with QA. I wish you can learn from this and avoid causing such issues in the future.”

“The 256gb thumb drive is great. First time I have ever had a thumb drive where the actual drive space shown by the OS is GREATER than the drives stated capacitiy - by almost another GB. Impressive. I knocked a star off my review for courier PiHut chose to use to delivery my purchase on next day delivery: EVRI (a complete waste of space imho). Their tracking showed that they received my item just after 1am on the Saturday - but it took them until Tuesday to deliver (so much for "Next Day" then), with their "out for delivery" email only arriving a mere 11 minutes before the package was pushed through my letterbox. Useless. I will be thinking twice before purchasing from PiHut again until they change courier to one that actually does what it says on the tin.”

“As a developer, it’s written in my principles to have a quality supply chain, the Pi Hut forms part of that chain. I am also savvy, I will shop around! Not so much for cheaper prices but for “just in time” delivery. Meaning I’m not stuck with parts on the shelf and that assets are delivered as and when I need them. On this occasion the Pi Hut stepped up and I am avoiding my larger retailers for the more personal touch small business bring to the market. Having a company dedicated to all things Pi is a breath of fresh air and you’re not stuck with a faceless conglomerate with technical staff trained on everything. At least with the Pi Hut it’s a one to one experience with the coal face, Raspberry Pi and experts. I think I found my new supplier for individual projects! Very happy and the reasons above are why.”
