“Pi Hut gave a very prompt delivery as you might expect from a £7.50 delivery charge for Li containing batteries. Previously I failed to spot on the website that the new Ansmann Li AA and AAA batteries currently can only be charged using a matching Ansmann charging module so had to make a second order to get the module.”

“I have been running Home Assistant for some time, first on a Pi3B, then Pi4B with an external SSD, but was often seeing errors and occasional restarts. I rebuilt the system with a Pi5 using the M.2 HAT, on-board active cooler. I had a few problems getting that to run in the original SmartiPi case with 7 inch touch screen, but was helped along by technical support. It has now been running for a few months with only one error showing on the display. I can now add more stuff to Home Assistant without having to worry.”

“As usual the pihut did a great job of packaging and sending this HifiBerry DAC lite with alacrity. This DAC is good the Ess9023 chip superb. (Revision 1.3 of the PCB has a round position next to c12 where capacitors could be added to make it even better although that would invalidate the guarantee, ask Google it will advise what to fit)”
