“Great little Pi UPS. The one I got is the 3S that takes three 18650 cells. Once the monitoring code is working in the pi you can keep an eye on battery status but power and current status are a bit high in their range at 10 amps and 100 watts. I’m not clever enough to alter the range in the code, but those are the defaults and a far too high. The UPS switches to battery powering the Pi when the main AC power is lost, not to be confused with pressing the off button which does actually power the UPS down and also the Pi as a result. A decent set of 3500 mah 18650 cells should power your average Pi for an hour or two and once the AC supply returns, the three 18650 cells are automatically recharged and the battery voltage can be see on the UPS status. Over all, a fantastic UPS.”

“Excellent selection of components, quick to arrive. I wish it was easier to amend or cancel an order before it gets shipped. I always forget something and have to make a second order and pay extra shipping. Customer service in this case was able to cancel the order, but a way of doing this without having to email customer support would be brilliant!”

“I needed a replacement printer at short notice and the Pi Hut delivered next day. The printer was sensibly priced and the ordering process was straightforward. It included reminders about thinkgs I might have forgotten such as cables, although because it was a replacement I did not need them on this occasion. The delivery was tracked, allowing me to plan for the printer's arrival. For my order, I do not know what could have been handled better.”
