“Normally rapid delivery. This one was slower than usual, so I checked the tracking to find the courier had destroyed it. Contacted PiHut, and I had a replacement delivered the next day. Things don't always go smoothly, but this mishap was well handled. Excellent service from PiHut.”

“I have ordered stuff from The Pi Hut that shows as 'in stock' on quite a few occasions - every time the delivery speed is truly amazing and whatever it is that I've ordered seems to arrive within 48 hours. For my current project I already had a 16GB RPi5 with 512GB SSD and M.2 HAT+ and I wanted to add the Touch Display 2 7" and OneNineDesign enclosure which both arrived really quickly. The only snag was that the pins on the 20mm header that comes with the M.2 HAT+ were not long enough for me to connect the power for the display... So, another super fast order for a 23mm header to replace the existing 20mm header - plug it all together and it works really great! The purpose of the project is actually to create a Smart Thermostat controller/display for multiple TRVs (e.g. 10-20 Thermostatic Radiator Valves) to work with a heat pump. The word on the street is that TRVs don't work with heat pumps and are a waste of time - I know better and plan to write up a design document shortly. I'll end up spending £600 or so on Shelly BLU TRVs plus the cost of the RPi controller and display and that will still work out cheaper than my current evohome system - and it will work a lot better!
