“I couldn't be more impressed with The MOLE Clinic Manchester. From booking the initial appointment with Ryan and Molly, to being seen by the incredibly reassuring specialist nurse Dawn, and highly knowledgeable Consultant Nigel, the whole team has been fabulous. After having a full body mole mapping consultation, three moles were flagged as requiring further investigation. By 9am the following morning the clinic had called me personally with the results of the diagnostic mole reports that I subsequently had done. The whole process was super quick and I will definitely be returning each year for an annual check.”

“Nicola was ace, so thorough, friendly and re-assuring. Helpful and happy to explain everything. Felt at ease, very professional and didn't feel uncomfortable even when disrobed. Found out what I needed and pleased that they are being conservative with plan, not trigger happy with removing moles.”

“The Mole clinic in Brighton was excellent . I was emailed a reminder of the date and time. I had my mole check almost immediately I arrived. The nurse who checked me was delightful. She was friendly, answered my questions honestly and put me at ease. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone to get their moles checked regularly at this clinic.”

“I recently visited this clinic due to concerns about a mole that was changing, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The staff were extremely nice and helpful from the moment I walked in. Even though I was feeling a bit anxious, they managed to calm me down. They accommodated all my requests and really took the time to explain everything in detail, which helped ease my worries. I appreciated how they didn’t make me wait long for answers—they provided clear explanations right away. Overall, I had a great experience and felt well taken care of. I will definitely be using their services again in the future. Highly recommended!”

“I have been so disappointed with the level of service I received. I booked in for a full body mole check and 3 moles came back as concerning when looked at by a dermatologist so it was advised I booked in an appointment for a second opinion with the another consultant at the mole clinic with the potential for a mole removal. My appointment even said pre-consultation, mole removal and biopsy. When I got to the clinic, the consultant disagreed with 1 of the moles being removed but agreed the other 2 should be removed. He then told me to book in another appointment where he could do it in 3 weeks time!! I asked why he couldn’t do it now as I had the appointment booked and he said he needs longer time. He had all of my records so knew he might have to remove them so am unsure why he didn’t have enough time. The report I received said I needed an “urgent referral” but by the time I have these moles removed it’ll be 4 weeks since my first appointment. I’ve been extremely anxious as anyone would be about these moles. I even asked if I could see a consultant that had earlier availability but the receptionist told me it had to be the same person to remove them which I find ridiculous. Surely any trained consultant who deals with moles as their job can remove them? I am very unhappy with this service.”

“The clinician was knowledgeable and had an engaging and reassuring approach. I was given advice around future prevention and how to spot early signs of any concerning moles or marks. This was followed up by some literature being supplied. The follow-up was really quick and personally provided. I was given comprehensive advice on options available to me. I would definitely recommend this clinic and more generally the importance of getting everything checked early so that you can go in and enjoy your life in a carefree way.”

“The review of my skin was thorough and professional. I have no moles but a lot of freckles. One freckle was identified as "suspicious" due to coloring. A photo was taken and a Mole clinic consultant looked at it and opined it was most likely a sun freckle but could be a malignant cancer. This naturally worried me. I gave the report to my NHS GP clinic who referred me to a NHS dermatologist consultant. As apparently there really is no way of knowing if it was cancerous without a biopsy I was referred to a surgeon who removed it and sent it for a biopsy. The report found it to be a sun freckle. So was there really any need to be concerned in the first place or was it a case of better safe than sorry. I don't know.”
