“Having lived in a hot country in my youth and having naturally quite pale skin, I decided to go ahead with the ‘full body mole map’ with The Mole Clinic. After my appointment, I was advised I had a mole of concern and it was likely a ‘Malignant, Basal Cell Carcinoma’. This was then quickly followed up by a quote to have it removed by the clinic. A price of £150 for a consultation & £460 for the removal itself. I decided to take my chances and go to the NHS with my results. They saw me quickly and confirmed it had no resemblance to my diagnosis what so ever and that they regularly see this from private clinics, who charge people for follow up work unnecessarily. The exact same thing happened to my mum, who also had her moles checked by the Mole clinic. She too was told the same thing by the NHS. A waste of time, money and worry.”

“Thoroughly impressed with my visit to The Mole Clinic in Argyll Street. Fairly priced for a service not offered on the NHS. Received a written report afterwards including images and measurements of my noteworthy moles with a recommendation to attend again in 3 months for a check on 2 in particular which I will definitely be doing. A small price to pay for peace of mind.”

“I had a rapidly changing mole that appeared when I was pregnant. I went for a full body check and let me just say it was the best money I have ever spent (and actually so reasonable). Turns out it’s not a mole at all and completely safe - wow, my anxiety and worry all zapped away in 45 mins. My nurse was experienced, professional and had such a calming nature, I was completely at ease. My full body check was extremely thorough and she talked me through everything as she went as well as in depth after. I feel so happy knowing my skin is healthy and also armed with the knowledge of what to look out for. Will be back next year for sure!”
