“I felt very at ease and very much listened to. My technician was lovely and very reassuring, taking the time to explain her finds and giving me advice about what to look for, how to look after my skin etc. Very thorough, highly recommended for peace of mind!”

“Danielle who was making my assessment was very friendly and put me at ease; as well as Professional. The Clinic is very modern and clean as well as pleasant. I would say the system of calling the clinic can be difficult as its an offsite number.”

“I got an appointment very quickly. I was seen at the time of my appointment with no waiting. The Screening Nurse was very friendly and put me at my ease. She explained everything very clearly and I received my report less than two days later.”

“This is a very clean, organised place performing a service that everyone should have. Catching melanoma early is vital and this clinic has a system and procedures in place to do just that. I had a mole check the first time, then opted for the full mapping the second. Glad I did. They caught a couple of things. Better safe than sorry, where skin cancer is concerned! They have docs who can do the excision but they do not pressure you to use their docs if you have someone in mind, like a plastic surgeon for example. An excellent service, highly recommended.”

“The appointment was next day in a clean, easy to find clinic. The price for an initial consultation was reasonable, and so much easier than trying to see the GP. I wish the NHS had clinics like these - so sensible.”

“I'm a bit puzzled with my overall experience at The Mole Clinic. I've spent £175 for a full body mole check with a Nurse and a further £60 to have 2 enlarged pictures sent to a Doctor for second opinion. They are allowed to charge the prices they want however in my opinion this is super expensive for the service I got. The Nurse who saw me was a lovely lady and she tried to answer my questions as best as she could. I've received my report and it came back as there was nothing for me to worry about however the wording used is a little bit scary so I might have to go to another clinic to get a 2nd opinion. It's a bit of a shame. It feels like if I went to the NHS to raise this they probably wouldn't care but if I go to a private clinic I'm going to be charged loads for some vague answers.”

“The kindness and thoroughness shown by the nurse (Rina) was exceptional. Though I’m relatively young, I was recently diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma via the NHS. Having this appointment gave me ‘peace of mind’ with this concurring second opinion from the MOLE Clinic. The nurse did a thorough examination of my entire body, something I didn’t have by the NHS consultant dermatologist. I’ll surely be back for yearly exams with the MOLE Clinic. Highly recommended!”

“Welcoming, friendly and professional, I felt in safe hands while I had my full body skin check. Everything was explained to me clearly and every effort was made to maintain my dignity. I will definitely return for annual checks but also feel reassured that I know what I am looking for when I self check.”
