“We have to order a smaller vehicle but this time the driver drove over our grass verge making it look unsightly and required re turfing. Usually this has never happened. Hopefully this won't happen again as I did stop the driver and tell him.”

“Firstly I would like to know more about the club - who actually owns it, location, etc. Then I used it as the price was better than your rival the Oil-club. Only problem is that Butlers, who supplied the oil would not put the overflow into our other storage tank because it was not connected directly to the burners. It is "plural" because 2 separate families on the same property use the comunal tank and we used Tank No2 to enable us to buy more oil at the v ery reduced price. Can't find any law against this ???? Only other problem is that Debit Card was used when ordering and we are now in "credit" with Butlers ad are awaiting reply to e-mail sent to them last Saturday.”

The particular issue you experienced relates to a health and safety directive of the Butler wider company and a driver cannot override that. “Although the price was very good,the delivery was also very good .The one problem was the driver was only able to deliver 733 liters before the tank was full.As at todays date I have not received the part refund to my A/C.I assume this is being processed.This is the only reason I have not marked the very good.I am sure this will be rectified so I can use you in the future. Hello Mr. Caton, Glad that for the most part, everything was good. In terms of refunds, these tend to happen in two ways. If the full payment is taken by the supplier before delivery and a lesser amount is delivered, the refund is processed by them following confirmation and issued to the card used, this can take 7-10 days. Some suppliers however 'ring fence' the payment and then take a final amount after delivery, in these cases the amount taken would always equate to the amount delivered. “I have used the Oil Club for the first time & it scored well in a number of areas. a) Price: Better than my previous supplier. b) Attention to specific details: When asking for a smaller tanker, there was no problem & no extra charge. c) Delivery date: A date was agreed, but later I was 'phoned & asked to change delivery date. This did not work out either for the supplier, but the third time was fine & no problems. c) Delivery instructions were followed & no problems arose. I look forward to building a good relationship with the Oil Club. I feel I can now order oil to be delivered without my presence on the premises, & that all will be satisfactory.”
