“I ordered some lobster tails. I cooked them as I normally do, checked with a ver accurate instant read thermometer so they weren’t over cooked. They were awful. Tough as old boots. I think they must have been previously defrosted and refrozen. They were very old.”

“That I can get unpeeled prawns in the middle of Derbyshire makes me SO happy. (I'm from London/Kent and used to have several fishmongers I could visit, but they're few and far between these days and around here.) So thank you. I'd love to be able to order winkles and whelks, but I never seem able to. And really good old-fashioned seafood sticks (unless they're a dirty word at The Fish Society :-)”

“I can only afford a Fish Society delivery a few times a year but I am never disappointed. I have tried new fish and love your 'Made by Us' items. My absolute favourite is Barramundi. The only item that I disliked was the smoked cod roe; I do like the standard cod roe. I was not too enthusiastic about King Fish, that is just personal taste, but everything else has been of excellent quality. Your delivery is always reliable, on time and arrives well frozen. I understand that high quality is expensive so I can only treat myself sometimes. I appreciate your discount codes and probably buy a larger order as these tempt me.”

“While most of my order was quite good, I was disappointed to find the Spanish Squid Croquettes were missing. I reached out to customer service to report this issue but never received a reply. The absence of customer care and communication makes me hesitant to order again.”
