“I ordered these (three lobsters and 24 scallops) to arrive for a special New Year's eve meal. They were dispatched via DPD but when I got the tracking details we were drop 133 of 208. Unsurprisingly, at 6:30pm I received a notification saying the driver had returned to the depot with my parcel and delivery would be rescheduled. The following day, I received a message saying the parcel had been destroyed as it was perishable. Clearly the right thing to do, but what a waste of lobsters and scallops and how stupid to not use a priority delivery service that actually delivers perishables in a timely fashion. To be fair, the refund was swiftly processed when I called but as a first time customer I won't be ordering again.”
