Not overly happy with Salmon steak size/weight and especially the steaks being more portion shaped.

The products delivered have been good, but the packaging hasn’t always been adequate. Twice so far, the food arrived half defrosted due to insufficient ice packs in the box. Unless the packaging is consistently good, I would be hesitant to place a large order.

The delivery was as promised, fully sealed with ice packs etc.. I’m only marking down as it seems some of the oysters were dead before packaging, but I am ignorant to oyster health.

I’m rating this 3 stars for the confusing instructions and the lack of customer service. On the their website, the product description states this product is fine to freeze. Once we received it, the label at the bottom of the jar says “Do not freeze”. We called the company 3 times with no answer and no response to our voicemail.

It’s covered in the FAQs but it should be explicit in the advertising and across the site that fish is likely to arrive defrosted. Had I known this in advance I could have made provision.

Everything was great except the muscles and the customer service response when I stated that there was no label on the bag saying they were par cooked and the response was “should have read the website”

Not as good as usual ! Website seemed more complicated and didn’t “flow” or recognise membership. Delivery good, but packing poor with items on top of parcel well defrosted eg crab!! You can do better!!!

As a thank you to my mother-in-law I ordered 2 salmon roe and only one was delivered. Luckily my Mother-in-law noticed this so I was able to tell The Fish Society and they sent the 2nd one. I was not very pleased as it ended being more hassle than a pleasure! Luckily my mother in law was not too embarrassed to mention the missing salmon roe otherwise I would never have known!
