“Mainly due to delivery First batch by DHL, receive email for 1 day delay Email sent to fish society one staff reply if food was cold to touch is still SAFE to eat That is unacceptable Then on the 2nd day nothing was received With loads of emails DHL said not their problem, fish said is DHL let them down Well…. Complaint of course made Another staff made reasonable reply but the next day DHL send in soaky melted sashimi item…. This was horrible indeed Luckily is I contacted the staff and makes a complaint otherwise it won’t be having a sensible arrangement from them: throw this batch and they will send in new one with DPD DPD on time thou but just left the box on ground at entrance without saying. But I’m expecting it so I check time to time. Likely will not recommend friends coz it was really annoying to have sudden day off to wait for delivery plus potential food safety hazard”

“Unfortunately my delivery was delayed by the courier for 24 hours which meant my fish had been travelling for 48+ hours on the hottest days of the year. Suffice to say, once delivery was made, I could smell it before I saw the box! Dealing with the Fish Society regarding this incident has been completely unacceptable - whilst I appreciate the delay was by the courier, I paid quite a lot of money for fish that went straight into my bin. No communication has been received from them since I told them the fish was delivered, warm and rancid. Shame, because I've had several deliveries from The Fish Society in the past that have all been excellent.”
