“The woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful, effecient and pleasant.unfortunately the "black" feathers sent turned out to be navy blue and I had to do a lot of dyeing before I could do the job I needed to in a v tight turn around . However I cannot fault the excellent professional service .”

Hi. Thank you for your positive review, I'm sorry you received navy fringe, I am looking into the batch which it came from as you might have been sent Swallow Black by mistake which we will make sure doesn't happen again. I'm sorry you had to go to the trouble of additional work to dye the feathers. I hope you will use again in the future. Thanks. Gillian

“The quality of the feathers were brilliant, and a really great price. I ordered one lot and liked them so much I ordered another. My only disappointment was that the second batch didn't have any yellow feathers. The colours are lovely, but there are too many dark ones and I really needed the yellows to add brightness. If there is anything that can be done about this I would be very grateful. None the less, delivery was very quick and overall I am pleased, thank you”

“The feathers are very good quality and pressed so are very straight and easy to work with. However the small bag of feathers I purchased did have lots of small dried bugs in. Otherwise fab and will definitely use again”

Hi Lily. Thanks for your review. Sorry you found some bugs. I have looked in our stocks of the feathers you purchased and I can't find any in there. If you would like to return the feathers for an exchange that will be fine also if you still have the bugs it would be interesting if you could return them so we can see what they are and identify where they have come from and prevent any more. “The colors didn't match my expectations.. I bought STRIPPED CHINCHILLA COQUE (PACK OF 10) in gold and on the computer screen it appeared more yellowish gold. Now, when I got them they are more brownish gold.”

Hi, I am sorry you were not happy with the colour. If you would like to return the feathers and exchange for something else that is fine. It can be difficult to judge colours accurately on screen as computer screens do vary when showing colour and we encourage customers to ask for samples where timescales allow. “Gillian was very helpful. The packaging and despatch were tip top. All the products were great but I did expect the brooch to have the small red feather a bit more red like the photo. Also I couldn't pay on line - for some reason the site wouldn't let me so I paid over the 'phone. However these are little niggles and I will definitely use you again if I need more feathers. Thank you for a relatively painless shop.”

“These are good as feathers. But for what I wanted, namely something from which to make a quill pen, they are not so good, because the quill part below the feather is awfully small. This is not the fault of the seller; apparently one should never use turkey feathers for quill pens, but I didn't know that.”
