Have tried numerous times to contact you have already paid over £3000 we have another £1700 due in nxt 2 weeks. We have fallen victim to covid 19 husband is a 12 wk shielder my sons our out of work due to this we have limited funds and need to reaaarange our june holiday to 2021 but no reply to chat or calls

Myself and my wife were due to travel to Tenerife on 17/3/20. We were contacted on 16/3/20 to say it was cancelled because of government advice against travel, covid 19. We called teletext about refund and told they would call us in 2 or 3 days when they had more info, we have heard nothing and have been unable to get in contact. Phone line unavailable and not able to get through on live chat. Tried for days. Still no joy !

My friend and I were due to fly to Portugal 29.03.2020. This was cancelled due to the government guidelines. After calling several times, being told by one call handler we would receive a refund we are still waiting for any contact. We have used the chat system and not received any more information I am extremely disappointed that such a well known company would not look after their customers. Prior to this I had been praising teletext for how well organized they had been in booking the trip we wanted. I'm saddened that I wont be anymore.

Please do not book with this company!!! We booked to go to Vegas 23/03/20 flying British Airways and staying in the Luxor. We had a hard time during the booking as one of the guests fell ill and couldn’t travel, we asked about name changes and were told this wasn’t possible(fine). I booked a separate flight with BA for someone else to travel to make up the foursome as this was a gift for my sons 21st. Cut to the flights being cancelled amid this terrible virus! BA emailed me on the 21st March to say my flight had been cancelled and asked how I would like to proceed, I rang them and although I had to wait 30 mins(understandable) to get through to them they issued my refund for my flight I’d booked direct with them and the money was in my account within 2 days. I asked them about the refund on my package holiday that I’d booked with Teletext and was told I would have to deal with them 😔 We waited till the 27th to see if Teletext would tell us that our holiday had been cancelled 4 days after we were due to have flown, Nothing! We then tried contacting them via phone and had much the same as most of the other reviews on here, rude, 24-48hrs and so on. We have emailed them repeatedly with no reply! On Live chat( when it works) to be told that yes our holiday has been cancelled 😂😂 please give them 24-48hrs I have to say when we have been able to get through on live chat they have been evasive and mostly cut us off Please do not book with this company! I am looking for a way to report them and hope they never trade again( sorry that sounds very bitter) Still no refund and no closer to finding out if they will give us one

Received an email today after booking to go to New York in April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 issue we are no longer able to and the trip was cancelled. Received an email today (below) and after contacting TeleText they asked me to rebook. I'm not sure whether the representative has been waiting the news, but booking to go to New York now seems like the worst piece of advice I have ever received. I was told (verbally) I have a credit note for a year. I asked to have this in writing as I am yet to receive this information. A follow up email should be sent to me in 48 hours. Watch this space. I would much prefer a refund and not have to worry about rebooking. Looks like I may have to go through travel insurance. -- As a travel company, we have been closely monitoring Government guidelines to ensure we take appropriate action to protect our customers in what is a truly complex and challenging situation, and have been working around the clock to support our customers. Given the recent Government advice not to travel, Gold Medal (the supplier that your holiday was booked with, via Galileo) have now cancelled all bookings made due to depart up to 30 April 2020 and are now issuing credit notes for the amount paid on your booking. Please call us on 0207 741 1466 and one of our agents will be happy to assist you with re-booking an alternative date. Kind regards, Teletext Holidays

I have contacted Teletext holidays 3 times on website with no reply about a booked holiday 21/4/2020 flights already cancelled, hotel closed No response ☹️😔

i booked a holiday due to fly out on the 14/05/2020. I have fallen victim to the covid 19 pandemic like millions of people around the world with restrictions in mind. Im out of work at present but have paid £400 in total with a shortfall of £524 to pay by the 14/04/2020 5 days away. Nobody wants to talk or try and give me some grace to pay or use the £400 for other flights or a refund please help

I booked a holiday with Teletext on 10.3.20 going to Vegas on 23.4.20. I have sent numerous emails to you, tried to contact you via phone and your livechat which is conveniently not in use right now. I am at my wit's end with your company and I suffer with severe anxiety and yet still no communication. I am beyond disgusted.

NEVER AGAIN I would put zero stars if I could. I booked a surprise trip for my husbands 50th (not a cheap one) to Turkey on 6th May. After several emails and online messages and Facebook messages I have heard nothing. I just want a refund. I don’t ever want to use you again including moving my holiday date. Yes you are busy, yes everyone is experiencing problems. We can’t afford to lose that kind of money. My husband has asthma and I have medical issues that warrant us both home for 22 weeks so won’t be travelling for a very long time. You teletext should be ashamed of yourselves. Friends and family of mine have all had a full refund from their holiday bookers. I suppose I will get a reply to this asking for my reference number, as if that will do anything!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Never in my life will i ever use teletext holidays again Booking the holiday - the service was shocking and the person we spoke to on the phone was very abrupt and demanding. They told us our outstanding balance was due 27th march, they tried to take the payment 2 days early covid 19 - i had an email from Ryanair 20th march to advise that our flights were cancelled Yet you try and take money from us for a holiday that could not take place. Received an email 26th march from teletext to say holiday cancelled. Same day get another email to say payment had failed and call to make payment - the same payment that was taken early!!! After an online chat - which was appauling. Having to repeat myself and provide the same information more than once. We were told that although our holiday was canceled you were going to charge us a cancelation fee .... Are you kidding me!! Could not answer any questions. Think i was talking to a robot! The government puts travel bans in place, we have an email from Ryan air plus an email from teletext to tell us the holiday is canceled yet they want to charge us a cancelation fee And take money for somwthing thats cancelled. we did not cancel the holiday so why charge us a fee? Why try to take the money? still getting no answers i got fobbed off to say to help me someone would need to call me. yet i was reassured that as the holiday was cancelled NO money would be taken from my account - i saved this conversation. I told them i wanted a call back in 24 hours or expect a massive complaint - still to this day now no attempt to contact us has been made Fast forward to now. checking my online banking 2nd april they take £15.70 from my account. no permission, no warning. Teletext, you have dealt with this in the most appauling way. you took money from my account without permission after telling me that no money would be taken from my account. i have the whole conversation we had online screen shot!!!!! We want the £15.70 putting back into the account you took it from and the refund £120 that you already have from us for a holiday that cannot take place and was not canceled by us but by yourselves based on government guidelines. You simply will not get any business from me and any of my friends ever!!!

Very disappointed in the response to refund information. They PREVARICATE and advise a future date repeatedly. I have had sarcastic comments when seeking answers to very simple timing questions. Please be advised do not use this organisation

If I could give a minus rating I would. I cancelled my holiday nearly a month ago and have been promised on 4 occasions I would receive a call back to discuss my refund, this has not happened. I then lodged a formal complaint asking for receipt confirmation of my email within the 48 hours mentioned on their complaints procedure, this did not happen - I chased response after 72 hours and copied in the managing director who responded to sau that I would receive a response within 28days of when my holiday was supposed to go ahead (26th May) this is not acceptable to wait 3 months for a refund for a holiday I won’t be going on. I will be reporting this company to the retail and travel ombudsman and I suggest that no one uses this company to book a holiday.

I booked a holiday package via Teletext last year and I am due to depart on 17/04/2020 for Benidorm. After repeatedly trying to contact Teletext (by phone, website and PM on Facebook) and requesting a call to confirm what on earth is going on, in light of COVID-19, I have still heard nothing. My booking reference is TT 736431. I have now received confirmation that my flights have been cancelled by the airline (Norwegian) and still no communication from Teletext. Truly disappointing service from what used to be a reliable and wonderful company. I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!!!!

I have been trying to get in touch for 3 weeks! You aren’t answering your live chat says 1 minute in the queue constantly, no phone lines working! This is dreadful, you have people’s money and in times like this people need it!

Hi, our group was suppose to fly on 09/04/2020 which is just Wednesday and so far i havent had any contact from TeleText. My TT reference is TT773758....i have been trying to contact them via their App or via calling them but no luck. when you call them they clearly saying they not taking any calls and use online chat service. when you go online chat service....its doesnt work.....so not sure how to contact them......they are one of the respected travel companies but...now dont really know what to do say to them....I am also getting request to check into to the Airport on a flight that’s cancelled & a resort that’s closed ..COULD I PLEASE REQUEST TELETEXT TO PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL TODAY AND SORT OUT MY HOLIDAY......MY TRAVEL DATE AS PER THE BOOKING IS Wednesday ....NOT SURE WHEN YOU GONA CONTACT ME......I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU....

Ref. TT788466 I was meant to fly out on the 29th March, nothing from teletext. It wouldn't surprise me if they're planning on filing for bankruptcy, don't book holidays with this company.

I’m disappointed in the treatment I’m getting from teletext Holidays after numerous calls I haven’t got a straight answer. I was supposed to fly out on the 24th of March which understandably got cancelled, but teletext holidays have not updated me on anything and there’s no sign of my money which I paid all upfront. My ref is TT785604 I hope I Get a call soon. As I have called and emailed many times. And I work in a hospital as a nurse so I hope you understand that I don’t have time to have to keep calling you and that you have the decency to refund me without wasting anymore of my time. Thankyou
