As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

I booked a multi contractual package in November, which I obviously want to cancel due to obvious reasons at this particular time. Just been told I'm not prioritised for cancellations as I'm flying after 10th May. I asked my options for cancelling and was told I had to wait until THEY contact me. This is direct from Teletext holidays website under their terms and conditions. It doesn't say anything about a time scale, just BEFORE departure. I'd be careful what you're telling your customers. Plenty of potential claims flying around by the sounds of it. 11.2 Multi-Contract Packages Only: Cancellation by you due to Unavoidable & Extraordinary Circumstances Where you have booked a Multi-Contract Package, you have the right to cancel your confirmed Multi-Contract Package before departure without paying a cancellation charge in the event of “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances” occurring at your holiday destination or its immediate vicinity and significantly affecting the performance of the holiday or significantly affecting the transport arrangements to the destination. In these circumstances, Truly Travel Ltd shall provide you with a full refund of the monies you have paid but we will not be liable to pay you any additional compensation. Please note that your right to cancel your Multi-Contract Package in these circumstances will only apply where the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advises against travel to your destination or its immediate vicinity. For the purposes of this clause, “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances” means warfare, acts of terrorism, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination. Please note that this right to cancel only applies to customers who have booked a Multi-Contract Package.

Totally disgusted ! Lack of communication won’t answer phones or emails won’t give you a refund only a credit note which is illegal holiday was cancelled so money should be returned, joke of a company do not book a holiday with dick Turpin outfit !!! Beware !!!!!

Over all it’s a good service but the price has been upped which I wasn’t too pleased about .,, but great service on phone by Fraser 👍

Atrocious company, wish i never booked. will not allow customers to exercise their rights to cancel under the terms and conditions of the booking. Not refunding current customers who have had holidays cancelled. this company is not following the package travel regulations and breaking the law! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!

Wish I could leave a minus score. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Customer service rubbish standard answers and emails holiday was cancelled 29th March and the airline has refunded yet they will not give it me back even though have told them I don’t wish to rebook I want my refund as stated in there terms and conditions but they want to keep offering vouchers. They don’t read emails as they don’t answer them personally just a standard one and there is no way to speak to anyone who is not reading from a sheet they do not listen be warned do not book nothing more than common thiefs

Hi My friend booked a short break for five of us leaving May 8 TT778488. She has tried on numerous occasions to obtain a full refund. The latest advice was there would be no consideration of this until the virus has cleared up which apparently will be July 31. Could you please help us out asap. Thank you.

Rather than teletext just coming up with a boring standard replies on here which just incites customers more why not as a company do yourselves a favour and make a company statement to everyone via your website and the media at large on how you aim to deal with Cash refunds, timescales etc. You would get less bad reviews and people like me complaining if you were transparent about it all. My booking is TT777516 before you ask that silly question. Ive heard nothing from you although my flights were cancelled last week by Ryan Air. For the record I want a full CASH refund - my request to RYANAIR was for a refund which I expect will come to you first. Please advise on that issue as you are the booking agent and took all my money for that package holiday.

My TT is tt780390. Iam sick and tired of contacting this agency everyday. I spoke with anil,Sandeep,fateema,Cheryl,Thomas,Priya and got record of everything. They are lying to me and giving me false hope everyone and it's causing me stress. I had a call from concern team and we agreed if they deduct some money than I can have my refund in three weeks but it's been 4 weeks. Faiz called me and he accepted and he said he is gnna call me same day but it's been 4 days. Too many lies. Enough is enough. Such a horrible agency and I will never use you again. Where s faiz? Where s my agreed refund?

Like many others I had booked a package holiday with teletex at a cost of £2588 for it to be cancelled. I do not want a voucher I do not want to change my dates I would like what I am legal entitled to and that is a full refund! As I was meant to travel on the 6th of March teletex are really insulting this customer by thinking they can get away with not paying me my money back. The law has not changed because of Covid 19 regarding refunding holidays cancelled by the operator so legal action is my only alternative action to take ! DONT USE TELETEX THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN MAKE IT NIGH ON IMPOSSIBLE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK WHEN THEY CANCEL !

Same story as everybody else. Teletext trying to fob us off with a credit note. If anyone is reading this review then I urge you to pay an £80 cost for a small claims court hearing. Teletext/Truly travel have broken the law by refusing refunds within 14 days so don't have a leg to stand on. This is my next course of action

I ve been contacting Teletext for 6 weeks,I spoke with anil,Sandeep,fateema,Riya, Sonia and so on but everyone lied to me. Shitties travel agency ever. U guys are thief. I ll take all the screenshots to my solicitor. I have been traveling for 28 years and never had any problem with any agency but ur agency is horrible,awful customer service. Too many lies and false hopes.

This is honestly one of the worst companies I have ever booked with. This company is a FRAUD! Refuse to tell me how I can get a refund after my holiday was cancelled due to coronavirus. They keep ignoring what I’m saying and offer me a lousy voucher which I do not want! My airline and hotel are both offering customers to reschedule bookings at no extra cost but teletext are quoting me a whole 2 GRAND extra to go at a later date. Please avoid this company at all cost - DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I will be making a fraud claim with my bank. I honestly hope this company goes into liquidation as it is robbing people in broad daylight.

Lucky to get the 1 star as you have to give this to leave feedback. Been onto teletext holidays several times now as we was due to go to Greece on 12th April. Teletext cancelled the holiday and offered vouchers which we declined. There are 10 of us travelling and have asked for a full refund. Was told this would take 2 to 3 weeks to be refunded after trying to hard sell us vouchers instead. Chased them up today as we had an email offering a credit note instead, basically another word for a voucher. Rang them up to be told that I can can again have a voucher or a credit not. That's all they kept going on about. I strongly stated I only want a full refund and get told I can apply for this after 31st July. Nearly 4 months after we were due to go. This is discusting from teletext holidays and will take this further. They have no regards to customers who have booked with them and will never use them again. I've never used them before and was sceptical when booking as when I paid they were putting the payment through and came back saying the price of the holiday had gone up. I had a row with the guy and he then agreed the original price quoted. Micky mouse company who should never be trusted. I look forward to the generic reply from Becky.

Will never book with this company again. Due to go to Lanzarote on 14th May and they still have not cancelled. They say we could still be able to travel on this date. I have to pay them 2000 next week for a holiday we will not be going on. Absolutely disgraceful. Don't ask me to send my booking reference as I have done that several times.

I have booked a holiday to Morocco with teletext and have tried to call them since as both me and my girlfriend were diagnosed with covid-19 and out of work and so we couldn’t pay for the flight. I still am suffering from it but I have been emailing them since and trying to call, the advisor I spoke to was Akbar who literally harassed my phone into speaking to me and getting me to book but when it’s time for my deposit back to get through the pandemic nobody answers I’ve done live chat over 100 times I tell you.

Booking ref: TT767365 Teletext Holidays.. Do you think you are going to get away with bullying us into accepting a credit note when we have requested a full refund in writing twice ? I can tell you this will not be the case and we will not be going away quietly. By law you should have refunded within 14 days of our request. Holiday cancelled due to Covid 19 no contact from teletext apart from an email. Tried live chat to get a refund to be told it’s credit vouchers and emailed them last week with nothing back. I can’t rebook a holiday and just want my money back given the fact some of us aren’t working and I’m fully entitled to MY money back. Absolutely terrible service given the situation, will not book again !!
