As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

“Gavin was really helpful on the phone today. After calling earlier to be told we could make no payments today and my reference number was incorrect. After calling back and speaking to Gavin he sorted the problem found our booking and I feel much better now about our booking”

“Booked a holiday with teletext holidays for 10 days in malta. Was told it was the best price available so paid up straight away as they have price promise.2 months later found exact same offer on Thomas Cook £500 cheaper so rang teletext and asked them about their price promise but was told that only counts on the day you book which is a con don’t trust them as th”

“I misleadingly booked a 5 star hotel for my mums 80th birthday, to my horror after the booking i looked at the hotels orginal website and found out that is only 4 star but teletext is advertising the hotel as 5 star which is completely illegal. I asked for my money back they said they can’t as the holiday is non refundable and have offered me £50 pounds compensation for their technical error. This has completely ruined my mums 80th birthday. Fortunately i childcare for a solicitor couple so will be taking legal action. Annoyingly too i have a found a hotel today that is 300 pounds cheaper and is a real 5 star hotel. This is an unlawful website please do not book with them they haven’t even offered to put my mum and i a 5 star to make up for their technical error. The customer service team were very patronising and manipulating”

“1 star – Extremely poor service I had a hotel-only booking with Teletext Holidays and simply asked to amend the duration from 10 days to 7 days. This is a very basic change, yet I was quoted around £1,400 to make this amendment, which is completely unreasonable. There were no flights involved, so it’s hard to understand how such a small change could result in such a high charge. The process has been frustrating, unclear, and not customer-friendly at all. It feels like there is no real support when things don’t go exactly as planned, and instead customers are faced with excessive fees. Very disappointed with the service and would not recommend.”

“Chose holiday dates, airport, location . Filled in all filters and found a deal that looked good. However, flight times are never shown on this site and you have to ring up an agent to complete your booking. This is where the problem starts because they start to quote you better flight times and hundred pounds for return trip with one bag check in luggage. All this extra add-on makes it even more expensive than easyJet holidays that I have used before who are more transparent when I ask the person my budget and location and if he can find something good for me, I was kept hanging on for a long time and even though he had my number never did call me back with this lack of attention I didn’t feel like ringing him back on this occasion. I won’t give his name, but if management wants to contact me, I’m more than willing to help. I don’t know what other people’s experience has been but this is what I find the face of it. It shows you good deals and even though I had stated Gatwick only both ways it gave my return as from Southend!!”

“Sales agent hung the phone up! He became hostile once he realised he couldn't price match another agency or even direct booking despite the claims on their website. First, he attempted to discredit the other companies. Then when I politely challenged him, he became rude and hung the phone up on me! Dodged a bullet, imagine actually booking with them and needing help.”
