“Excellent learning experience towards certification in 2013 with TEFL UK . The course material is of a high standard. I am even happier that my course details and a copy of the 120 hrs professional certificate earned are still available online in 2020 ! I highly recommend this learning institute. I will be taking additional courses/ training with TEFL UK in the future.”

“I found the grammar section a bit of a headache as I was taught very little formal English grammar at school. (I learnt more grammar in French class than English!) However, after that section it was pretty easy. It could be presented in a much more engaging way (some sections contain endless writing) but it got me to where I wanted to go (online teaching), it's accredited in the UK (unlike some other courses) and was inexpensive.”

“This is a simple 120-hour TEFL course which I completed quickly. The readings are mostly interesting and I appreciated the video lessons where I was able to watch some of the teaching in action. I have been teaching for a fair few years and much of the course is fairly common sense stuff. That being said, it's always good to top-up your knowledge and there are some interesting hints and tips here which I found useful. I needed a TEFL certificate fast for a job I was about to embark on and this course provided me with just that.”

“The TEFL UK was a brilliantly designed course with detailed content. It was easy to understand and the layout was easy to navigate through. Excellent use of engaging activities and videos to help understanding of content. The use of tests at the end of each module was a useful way of self evaluation. I would highly recommend.”

“I really did not know what I did not know before I took this class. I have taught before and understood the importance of organization, to be alert to the different backgrounds of students and different styles of learning, but had not thought concretely what it would be like teaching ESL. The materials were logical and practical, setting forth effective strategies to keep students motivated and engaged and setting forth specific activities to develop proficiency in grammar. The materials were comprehensive, including alternative methods of teaching and videos of real classroom experiences. I appreciated the straightforwardness of the course. The sections were just the right length and the quizzes following each section seemed a fair gauge of comprehension. The practicum was tremendously helpful as well, enabling me to put theory into practice. I am glad to have that experience and to have observed other teachers live. It really brought home the challenges I will be facing.”

“I completed a 150hr TEFL course which I found very relevant as I have been able to use the lessons I learnt in my classes . I continue to refer to the course material whenever I face challenges with lessons. Navigation of the course was simple and easy and I could go over a lesson as many times as I wanted if I needed to. The short tests at the end of each lesson reinforced my understanding of the course and they were a good challenge to look forward to. What I liked most about the course is that I could study at my own pace and complete the course in my own time. I have been talking to my friends about this certification ever since I completed my course. It is worth the time and money.”

“Before choosing TEFL UK I did some research into other online programs and this one was the best choice! They laid out all of the necessary information every teacher should know in an easy to understand format. I am now more knowledgeable and confident in my teaching capabilities than I was before taking this course.”

“The user experience is quite basic. Very heavy on reading. Not many real-world examples on implementing the techniques discussed. Although I did enjoy the videos, they were quite long and outdated. I feel it would be a better approach to have brief video content for each section”
