“The 240-hour TEFL course with a practicum component is very comprehensive. I learned an immense amount while simultaneously reviewing crucial basics. However, the course itself had some text formatting issues (which can be easily amended via edits/updates) and, at times, the modules were redundant. Nonetheless, TEFL is a foundational resource for anyone looking to become an ESL educator.”

“It was good to learn some more tips when teaching ESL despite having many years of experience. I particulary appreciated the tips on how to teach grammar points such as phrasal verbs. I think the video clips should be updated, however because they catered more for those working in schools without obligatory access to/useof IWBs, laptops and the Internet.”

“I really enjoyed my 170hours combined TEFL course with TEFL UK.COM! It was a practical, detailed and a real eye opener. I learned alot about teaching methods, evaluation , and lesson planning. A great course for anyone serious about teaching English especially as a foreign language.”

“The Tefl Level 5 with business english was a pretty good course overall. Each module was well explained and detailed. There were no technical issues when using the platform. The only thing I wish was that there was more hands on teaching experience with an experienced teacher”

“Good qualification to have, although the courses they offer aren't entirely competitive or a great use of time unless a more voluntary position is looked for. More videos would have been appreciated, as walls of text were sometimes demotivating to read for hours on end.”

“The course was excellent value for money. I found it straightforward to follow the work through the units. It was useful to be able to work through at my own pace. I found the function to revisit previously learnt material for reference a useful addition and the assessment quizzes were logically structured. I would however comment that the lesson planning sections / units could be slightly misleading. In a realistic classroom setting (of which I have 20+ years of experience) it is extremely difficult to assign "timings" to a section of learning to complete. It is fine to have an activity that on a plan states 10 mins, 5 mins, 3, mins. Rarely, if ever, do activities take the prescribed plan time and do not account for the nature and dynamic of a class based lesson in reality, or account for embedding learning. On the whole though, this was a worthwhile course and a qualification which i am sure I will utilise in the future.”

“The TEFL UK 120-hour course was really good. It was easy to do at your own pace and very accessible. I have a lot of previous grammar knowledge from studying languages and I thought in places the grammar section could have been a big jump for people without any prior knowledge. I think the course was enganging, well structured and good to manage.”

“I set out to improve and unlock my full potential in the English language. I discovered that teaching is one of the best ways to solidify knowledge and practice a skill. This led me to start teaching, and I came across TEFL UK, which provides curricula designed to produce highly skilled teachers. Not only have I enhanced my English skills, but I have also developed valuable soft skills that I now use in my daily life. My only wish is that we had more opportunities to assess our understanding of each module. Thank you, TEFL UK!”

“Good content - I feel as though I have learnt a lot from this course. Most of the content is provided as text; I expected more videos. The videos that are included of the lesson observations were mostly good for seeing how the content is put into practise.”

“Tefl was extremely well organised and the course was easy to follow. Even in harder segments, i found the material digestible. It is great it can be done across a certain amount of time.”

“The course was really comprehensive and packed full of information. I'm not successfully teaching English in China, and this TEFL course was 100% valid for the visa application. The only improvement I would make would be maybe some slightly more engaging/interactive activities? Although I understand there isn't much more you can do beyond the little quizzes and matching activities.”
