“An excellent course, exceeding all my expectations. Well organised, every topic clearly presented and explained, with plenty of examples and demonstrations. The tutor marked assignments speedily and gave very helpful feedback. I love grammar and I would have liked more, but the books recommended are very helpful and I can continue to learn. Many thanks.”

“Reflection on Completing My TEFL Teaching English Course I am delighted to share that I have recently completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course. This is a significant accomplishment for me, especially given the challenges I faced along the way. Overcoming Challenges The journey to completing the course was not easy. Balancing my studies with other personal responsibilities made it difficult to stay consistent, and there were moments when I felt like giving up. However, my determination to achieve this goal kept me going. Support from Fellow Students One of the key factors that helped me succeed was the support I received from my fellow students. Their encouragement and willingness to help me understand difficult concepts were invaluable. Their support made a big difference and kept me motivated to push through the challenges. Course Benefits The TEFL course itself was incredibly informative and well-structured. It provided me with essential tools and techniques for teaching English, such as creating lesson plans, engaging students, and addressing diverse learning needs. The knowledge I gained from this course will undoubtedly help me in teaching English effectively. Looking Forward This qualification has opened up new opportunities for me, especially in my work at Saathi House, where I can use these skills to support non-native English speakers in improving their language abilities. It has also boosted my confidence to explore teaching roles in other settings in the future. Conclusion Completing the TEFL course has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. “Generally the content is really good, however some of the telephone training feels dated, pre-Covid, and not adapted to ways of working globally and cultural shifts, most people now particularly in business use Teams, and even outside of business video calling is really widespread.”

“If it were not for the tutor (Angie), the course was taken from Cheg or some other online course study company and rehashed. I must now go through all my notes and prepare them for the real world. It feels vacuous.”

“A wonderful program. I learned so much about teaching English in the 120 hour class. I feel way more prepared and comfortable to teach people of all ages and all environments than I did before. The program is well organized and well managed. My tutor, Thomas, was excellent, and provided me with a lot of useful feedback on my assignments.”

“I found the online course very interesting and helpful as someone with no teaching background. The grammar course was particularly interesting. My only criticism is that the telephone course is in need of updating - it says that Zoom is less well known as a platform, so I assume this material was put together pre-Covid.”

“Hi, The material is very good. It is helpful as a fundamental to teach young learner. It is better if TEFL.org can recommend what best application we can use to teach online. And also it is also better if tefl.org can recommend real source material from internet/youtube to teach young learner. So it will be easier for us to teach.”
