“The course is overall good, but the English is often awful, which is unacceptable for an English teaching course. An example of this is 'ComparativeS* adjectives could be practiC*ed by...'.”

“After several emails, The Customer Service team finally sorted out my account, so I was able to purchase a TEFL course online. However, the login for the course itself was also an issue. Customer Service finally sorted that out too.”

“The course seems to be good however I was not told as to my workshop being cancelled resulting in my loss of money and travelling 2 hours on the train and bus to get to the location to discover it had been cancelled .when I requested some reimbursment for the cost I was declined”

“It is set up with all the relevant information; however I can't say I was impressed with the phone customer service. Since I have started the course, it has been very good. Because of this, I have been impressed.”

“Cost of course reasonable and content comprehensive. However, I find the website really confusing to navigate around. Also some of the explanations given in the course are not very clear (especially considering it is a teaching English course)!”

“Video quality really poor. There has to be a way to send clearer videos. Lessons in the videos also donot seem to be given by experienced teachers”

“TEFL has provided me with the opportunity to travel to different counties to change lives by teaching English. However, I find the lessons are poorly worded and hard to follow. I feel I am not retaining any new information.”

“I'm really enjoying the content and the feedback from my tutor. However especially in the grammar section more examples and practice would have been helpful. In the methodology part the videos are a great idea but the audio is such poor quality it's very hard to watch and glean much from them”

“Excellent course content, however, the high cost of the course is not justified by this as there are other competing products out there that are still reasonably good but at a fraction of the price of this one. This would not be an issue if the language schools had strict requirements for prospective teachers to have attended particular courses but in my limited experience here in Spain they do not. Sadly, as I am a believer in the merits of formal training, some of them have not even asked for a TEFL qualification at all, just the ability to be a native English speaker and be confident to stand in front of a class.”

“More info about the course content would be good, I wasn't aware of the content about virtual classrooms which is not useful for me. It should be easier to see what units and quizzes have been completed too. It was not interactive at all and fairly boring but still good.”

“What can I say? Was asked to review - have only just enrolled and done second part of first unit. Fine so far, not bad, not brilliant. Perhaps I can be more specific and helpful once I have completed the course.”

“The course content is very thourough and clearly written out. I would like to see a chance for more interactive learning - practicing different tenses and grammar rules to help cement the information in our minds. I found the envid tutorials really helped to make certain things clear - more if those would be great!”
