“Appreciate the course and overall think it is clear and well structured. Demo classes were great! Some of the broken up sections were much longer than others, I think it would be great to have a little more consistency, or maybe have an estimate of the timing of the section in the header of each section. Also, it would be helpful to have a clear recommended order of multi-course packages like the 120-hour or longer study program. Thank you to the instructors and the demo students.”

“The 120 hour Tefl course provides A variety of different necessary topics for teaching English to non English speakers. It is challenging but extremely helpful, personally I would highly recommend this course if you wish to become an English teacher.”

“Surprisingly enjoyable though initially robotic and lacked variation. Having experienced a multitude of online certifications, I found "The TEFL Org" (sic) experience quite positive; though with quaint qualms. From a human standpoint, I enjoyed the assignments and was rather surprised someone actually responded with feedback and criticism -- this human feature was a saving grace to the general experience of "The TEFL org." Though it may perturb the bottom line and may anger rich executives with their profit margins and ivory towers, for a course to be priced at this caliber, I would employ more apt and astonishing reviewers such as Charlei and increase the assignments to every unit and not just the latter half. I, personally, enjoyed this and was worth my hard-earned money in this economy. Other than that, I did experience constant "kick-back" from the course upon moving on to the next page which was irksome but manageable (I would get re-routed to the home page and would have to click back - 4 load screens later - to get back to where I left off) but that would be an "I.T." problem.”

“I have taken a TEFL course with the expectation of learning. Let me Introduce myself I am from Linguistics and English as a second language background. This course is designed excellently so that it will give good knowledge of the subject. Additionally, practice exercises made every session very engaging and enjoyable.”

“The course is, of course, well structured. It has a good balance between theory and practice. It deeply analyzes the needs and strategy for using games and activities to teach young learners. Only concern though, I was hoping for something slightly different. I was interested in the TOPICS and approach to how to start teaching children for the first time (eg. what knowledge starting to teach, like in the CEFR, but for children). I have never taught children before, so this is essential to me. I contacted the client service before buying the course, and they assured me that this course was exactly what I was looking for. Honestly I am slightly disappointed for this gap in the course, but a part from this, I cannot say nothing bad about it.”

“Really good overall. One thing I wish there was were answers to all the self activities. Sometimes I wished I had more guidance for the telephone course and large class course.I feel like I lacked direction for those two assignments specifically. But it was an amazing experience nonetheless.”

“The course was interesting and refreshing, giving some ideas how to organize a class better. I was disappointed with a fact that there was no direct contact with a tutor, I had some questions that I could not discuss to find an answer.”

When you first sign up you will have received an email from your tutor who you could have contacted at any time during the course. There is also a contact form on the course account that enables students to send their questions direct to their tutor. “I would highly recommend the 168 hour TEFL bundle. I’m a native English speaker and found the modules on English grammar a steep learning curve for me! I live with a disability which would make it impossible to have studied Level 5 TEFL in a classroom setting. With this programme, I’ve been able to set my own pace, but there were times that I’d want to keep working through modules. The fact that it is so easy to see the milestones in the programme is great! The mix of classroom based videos showing applied methodology, quizzes and more substantive assignments allowed for a very satisfying learning experience. It is evident that TEFL Org really are passionate about their field, and not just another training provider delivering a course. Feedback was always constructive, and full of other ideas for the module. I’m now feel equipped to start delivering TEFL programmes both in the charity I work with (for newcomer young people) and online! I’ve a feeling Ill be back for more TEFL Org courses as this element of my career progresses!”

“I think anyone who has never taught will struggle with this course. The assignments were particularly challenging even with 24 yrs of post-secondary experience. The majority of my submissions I had to redo. My tutor's reponses were in point form, not complete sentences. Until Fiona. I spent hours online trying to figure it out, as the quizzes were easy that sets up an expectation.”

“The course is OK. The assignments seemed to be a bit of a shot in the dark. I also found the tutors feedback to be more confusing than useful. As an example, I submitted an assignment which didn't pass. I took all the feedback on board and resubmitted it. I was then told to pay attention to the feedback...?!?!? Seemed like different tutors were grading the assignment.”
