“Overall, very good. I took several notes from the videos. Videos were much more informative than the several (burdensome) in the CELTA course I recently finished. 2 thoughts: 1. If there is a word limit for an assignment, please include that in the directions. I learned on the back end of that, and while it was no biggie to (markedly) cull back my submission, it would have been better to know that up front. 2. Thought 1st assignment was very, very good. Thought 2nd assignment was weak. While easy to crank out, honestly I would have preferred a more challenging 2nd assignment. ;-)”

“A well-structured course with an easy-to-use platform. Marking was very prompt with concise feedback. I was unsure of the sequencing of the 5 courses as they are not numbered. The course materials were excellent, and the videos of lesson examples will be helpful to review. Great value for money and convenient on-line platform made it easy to plough through at my own pace.”

“The course was brilliant; really well structured and had so many useful resources, particularly the videos to explain concepts further and the classroom models/ demonstrations. The marking of assignments was really fast and had really useful feedback to both learn from and develop my understanding; the tutor (Thomas) was very helpful. The virtual weekend was phenomenal! It was very well set up and explained and it was very encouraging. Richard was a brilliant tutor and very friendly, welcoming and positive. The feedback on our lessons we presented was invaluable and it was brilliant to consolidate and put my knowledge to use. I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone considering teaching English.”

“Never completed an intense online course before, so nothing to judge against. However, the course itself was easy going and the assignment at the end of each module was easy to complete in theory, but I often needed to refer back to video clips and written examples to back up and finish tasks I found this tricky on my tablet to keep windows open. Sometimes pressed send to without finishing tasks! Oops. My designated mentor was patient and understanding. Feedback was criticatally positive. I have emailed her and thanked he.”

“I learned a lot from TEFL.org and I feel a lot more confident to teach than I did before. It would have been helpful if students were required to submit a video of a "mock" lesson and get feedback on it. Otherwise it was great!”
