“Overall, a fantastic set of courses, although the order in which some assignments are presented is a little weird. I think it would be more important to go over the concepts that will be frequent. Here, the past, present, and future tenses are constantly used early on, but you don't actually get a definition or example of them until way later on, which could be very confusing and problematic if someone tries to follow a similar structure in their own lessons, they may confuse their students.”

“Just completed the 120-hour TEFL course and I'm so glad that I made the decision to get this training! Not only do I feel well prepared to look for an English teaching job, but I am really impressed by the TEFL.org programme. The modules are well structured, diverse, rich in content, practical and useful. The homework assignments test what you've learned and put it into practice. You get a tutor that you can reach out to, who grades your homework within 48 hours, and even gives additional feedback and suggestions. I really am impressed with TEFL.org and can highly recommend.”

“I really enjoyed completing the 120 hour TEFL course, it was well-structured and engaging from start to finish. I learned a lot about lesson planning, classroom management, tailoring lessons to suit different types of learners, and effective teaching techniques. The length of the course was just right, providing a good balance of theory and practical application without feeling rushed. The assignments were fun and very informative, allowing me to put what I learned into practice. I especially appreciated the quizzes, which were a great way to check my understanding as I progressed. The feedback on my assignments was clear, constructive, and returned quickly, which really helped me improve and will be invaluable for planning future lessons. “Overall, I found the 120-hour TEFL course to be a highly valuable and comprehensive introduction to teaching English as a foreign language. The course covered essential areas such as grammar, lesson planning, classroom management, and skills-based instruction (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). The material was well-structured and easy to follow, with clear examples and practice activities that helped reinforce learning. I particularly appreciated the focus on practical teaching strategies, such as the PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) model, which made it easier to plan real lessons. The inclusion of concept checking questions (CCQs), pronunciation tips, and error correction techniques gave me a solid foundation for managing student understanding in the classroom. One suggestion for improvement would be to include more interactive content or videos of real classroom teaching, especially for those with no prior teaching experience. A short module on teaching students with special educational needs or neurodiversity could also be a great addition. Overall, I feel much more confident and prepared to begin teaching English, whether online or in a classroom setting. I would recommend this course to anyone starting out in TEFL.”

“It’s a great course and international recognised organisation. I got a wonderful time after my university degree many years ago. This certificate will get you a visa entrance to the country you wish you come to teach English even. The 120-hour course is perfectly prepared the methods and skills how to teach English even you come from a native English language speaking country.”

“Very easy to follow, workload is as advertised, content engaging and well designed to keep interest during the course. Assignments were well designed to consolidate course content. I think the course would benefit from more emphasis on teaching attitudes and the character of a teacher- maybe an assignment to check teachers know how to address class problems appropriately or how to build rapport- some tips or do nots would be good here. I worry that some unsuitable teachers could easily breeze through the course with bad or lazy intentions about their actual teaching ability/style, which this course does little to correct or talk about. Lastly, course tutors do an amazing job providing fast feedback and results, I really appreciated the support I received during my study. A big shoutout and thank you to my tutor Thomas Kerr who was excellent!”

“I completed the course in about 10 weeks, which is about average. Its all very well structured and each module flows well into the next. The topic quizes are intuitive, perhaps too easy. They could be made more challenging by increasing the number of choises. You ither have to have a love of grammer or iron clad persiverence to finish the grammer course, the teaching courses are however fasinating. The vidoes and example lessons are informative and provide exelent ideas for your own lesson plans. It typicaly took me two attemps to pass lesson plan asigments; the feed back is exelent. (Though i was once erroniously accused of using AI, I never use AI to generate work, i think AI is a short cut by passing understanding, I want to understand!). Instructions are clear and i was never left wondering what to do. Overall, its quite a slog, but highly rewarding. You can teach engilsh anywhere! I'm using TEFL on my gap year and on sabaticals in the future. Thank you TEFL team!”
