“Some good advice about lesson stage planning, needs more focus on appropriateness of grammar/vocab use in class because a lot of the applicants were struggling with matching the level of language to the level of the imaginary students. Lesson planning in pairs is difficult because a lot of time is wasted on task allocation and trying to connect sections.”

“I was very happy with the course, which seemed to me to be pitched at just the right level - certainly demanding, but by no means too daunting. I received excellent support throughout from the tutor I was assigned, and I'd like to make special mention of the virtual classroom course, which really helped the penny to drop for me, thanks to a fantastic teacher.”

“This is my third experience with this Tefl provider and so far all contents course have been digestable and consolidated by the quiz. I loved the assignment on the Teaching Business English because they have given me a real touch of what to expect in real life teaching.”

“I felt the course was really excellent especially the in person sessions. The quality of the teaching throughout was consistently good and covered a huge range of concepts very effectively. The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars is because I felt that the cost to extend the subscription was far too expensive. The course is good value for money but it is a significant investment. To then pay quite a large sum for a monthly extension felt a bit unfair.”

“I started this program in 2021 and ran into multiple life events that caused me to delay finishing this year, 2023. Despite this setback, I was allowed to continue my progress without restarting at any point and finally completed my course. TEFL.org provided a fantastic program with many in-depth resources that any teacher would need in a classroom abroad or at home. The length and speed of each course is perfect for almost any learners and the support staff respond quickly if you have a question about the site or the course. The grading instructors and the instructor that you work with during online-classes are supportive and constructive with your progress to allow you to correct and grow through your own knowledge and personal understanding of the subject matter. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching English as a foreign language!”

“I had to re-do my written assignments so many times because each time they would mark it and give me feedback on what to fix, it would be something different. I would have preferred for them to tell me everything I needed to fix the first time I submitted an assignment instead of making me re-do it 6 times across several weeks because they’d only tell me one thing to fix at a time. At a certain point I started feeling like it might be a scam, dragging it out to force me to pay the extension costs. I’ve heard there’s a way to get your tefl for free, or at the very least there are better sites. Don’t choose this one.”

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience. Our tutors do certainly follow a strict structure which ensures that our courses continue to meet the accreditation criteria. As the most accredited TEFL course provider in the UK it means that schools all around the world know a TEFL Org qualified teacher will be a great asset to them. We also encourage our students to contact their tutor direct if they ever need support with an assignment. There are many different TEFL Course providers, so it can be very difficult to know who you should pick, and I appreciate your comments regarding free courses. However, the TEFL Industry is dangerously under-regulated which means that anyone can start a company and call themselves a TEFL Course provider and offer courses. As there is no regulatory body for TEFL, the key to ensuring you choose the right TEFL Provider is looking at how much independent accreditation they have from recognised bodies. Here at The TEFL Org, employers recognise our certificates as being from one of the highest accredited TEFL providers in the world. “This TEFL course/provider unfortunately fell short of my expectations. Despite its high price, even after a discount, the absence of the accreditation body's logo on the certificate raises doubts about the legitimacy of the certificate. Although it's written at the back in plain English it's far below my expectation after spending such a big amount compared to the other market leading providers. I also found the phone unavailable most of the time. Furthermore, the unavailability of the telephone line on multiple occasions hindered communication. If I think the advertised price (*which is crossed out, and the courses are being offered at a so-called discounted price)it doesn't justify the quality of the content or certificate. The certificate's lack of explicit mention of course accreditation added to the overall disappointment. While the course provided some valuable content, these issues significantly diminished its value, and I cannot confidently recommend it.”

As you will see, there are are accredited by so many recognised bodies, that we could not include them all on the front of our certificates, or there would simply be no room to show the qualification details. “The Business English certification that I did, was very informative. I found the two assignments at the end of the course a bit lengthy work but they really filled the gaps in the knowledge. May be a mini assignment halfway through the course have helped in completing the assignments in the end. All in all I feel confident and knowledgeable after completing the course.”

“I found the course great and very complete overall! The only yhing I'd like to point out is the tutor's feedback. I have sent about 3 emails to my tutor throughout the course and never got a response. Please take it into consideration for improvement. Congatulations to the teachers, students and tutors involved.
