“What a great course!! It was very well laid out, with great correspondence from my personal tutor (thanks Alex). I work full time, so the flexibility of being able to do it in my own time was really convient. I haven't studied for many years and was slightly apprehensive, but TEFL Org soon made me feel comfortable, and have helped me start the ball rolling with a new journey in my life. “The 120-hour course was a breeze. I could work at my own pace and review parts I needed to focus on. It was very helpful and thorough. Well worth the low price. It took me 11 days and provided me with plenty of resources and support. My only qualm was the recorded voice was A.I.-generated and often made mistakes in English pronunciation. But I feel ready to teach. Thank you to Jenny O'Sullivan for responding promptly to my questions.”

My Tutor upheld Cambridge University's standard of excellence in his kind but exacting approach in critiquing my assignments and offering suggestions to develop and refine my skills. “I have just finished the TEFL course at TEFL .org, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! As a new mom taking care of my newborn, I thought it would be impossible to find the time and focus to prepare for the TEFL exam. “The TEFL course was very good indeed and i am proud of myself for having chosen it.I learned so much about each area of teaching minutely.Even the more complex topics seemed easier to follow through the videos and the explantion given in them.I greatly enjoyed the course in terms of instructions that were provided. “I chose TEFL.org after about two weeks of researching. It’s pretty well priced, about mid range of all the courses available, and one of the only ones That people seemed to consistently review as “not a scam”. I got a more thorough education through this course than I thought I would. The very first unit on grammar was a very, very effective refresher, and I even learned some things that I hadn’t known, grammar rules that I knew instinctually, but didn’t know were rules. The methodology unit was definitely challenging, and very effective in teaching me how to structure a TEFL lesson. But not so challenging that it was anywhere near impossible. I have seen some mixed reviews about the tutors people get assigned on this course, and have seen that apparently whether or not you pass or fail, written assignments easily is entirely dependent on what tutor you get. That is not ideal, and they should have a more consistent standard by which to grade, however I have very few complaints about my tutor. She was fair and consistent for the most part and gave me pretty good feedback, my only real complaint would be that she could improve on telling me what I did well, not just what I did wrong. Because knowing what I succeeded in helps just as much in future lesson planning. And there was one particular lesson that I had to go back and rewrite multiple times because, in her words, I was too vague, but then the examples she gave me were just as if not more vague than the lesson plan I wrote, so passing that particular assignment was less about writing an effective lesson plan and more about writing a lesson plan that she was personally happy with. But that was not the experience all around altogether. I am more confident than I thought I would be about jumping into TEFL work. I have not yet used the job support but plan on it in the next few days.”

“What a great course..... I work full time and was able to to this course in my own time, at my own pace. It was something very different for me to undertake, but this course taught me what I needed to know in a very clear and definite way. I really enjoyed it to be honest, and I'm very grateful and excited for the next chapter this qualification will help me write upon my journey of life.
