“I am very pleased with the quality of the courses on my full TEFL course. I think they were engaging and provide very interesting ideas as well as methodology that really helps you to grow as a teacher. There were some things in this course that were new to me and that I recently just learned. I really appreciated the videos where you could see the dynamics between students and the teacher in a real life classroom. It helps one to visualize how you yourself can apply it to your own learning environment. Overall it was a very good course and I learned a lot, however I will say that around December it was a bit hard to get a hold of my tutor. I understand that there might be a lot of students assigned to my same tutor and that he might have a lot of workload too and probably that's why he took so long to respond to me. But I was getting worried I might not get my certificate on time because I needed it before December was over for work purposes. It wasn't until I contacted TEFL directly telling them that I really needed my tutor to respond back so I could submit my final assignment that my tutor responded back. I had emailed my tutor twice and he didn't respond back until I contacted TEFL. It was a bit frustrating. Other than that, communication and timing was great. “I did the "How to Teach English Online" course after completing an in-person CELTA because I was interested in learning about online lessons. Unfortunately the TEFL Org course was beyond useless. The supplied pages taught little about how to actually conduct online lessons, the videos were pointless (no example lessons/activities, just a person reading out a web page that was already provided), and the quizzes were so unchallenging that I wondered why they were there at all. At the end, an assignment asked for a lesson plan, but the course itself did not prepare me for this task. I would have at least expected an example plan to be provided. After I failed my first submission, the feedback I received effectively told me I was wrong, with no indication of why or how I could improve, requiring me to send a follow-up email to the tutor. In addition, responses from the tutor were poorly written, causing me to wonder if it was written by an AI. Even at the discounted price I paid for this course, it was a disappointing experience all around and I would not recommend it. Below you ask "How quick did the company reply to your queries?" - I don't know why there are no options between "6-12 hours" and "over a week". I chose "over a week" but I believe it took a few days.”

This course also enhanced my understanding of student psychology – an element often overlooked in other TEFL programs. Flexibility The TEFL Org showed remarkable Flexibility with this course. “I really enjoyed the course, it was challenging but also providing enough content and guidance to learn and understand the methods and concepts. The videos can be quite long and hard to maintain focus, I prefer the shorter videos. My tutor was very helpful and offer contrastive criticism as well as highlighted what I did well in assignments. Overall a great course and good value.”

“The course itself was straightforward to manage. The content of the course was great, and the segments were filled with useful information. The only segment that felt a bit off was the 'teaching young learners' course. The feedback from the evaluators was always useful, however, sometimes they were a bit short and bleak. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the course, I believe it has taught me a lot. I cannot wait to use my newly gained knowledge in practice.”

“I bought the 120-hour package while it was on sale ($200 something), and I think it was worth it for the sale price. In this day and age, you need a TEFL certificate to even be considered for a job abroad so this was a good option as I don't have over $500 to spend on the other websites you see advertised by YouTubers. The grammar course is by far the most helpful followed by the methodology course. I took extensive notes on both of these courses and they will be helpful in the long run; I think these two courses make the price worth it. The three remaining courses are fine, but I felt like I just had to get through them simply to get my certificate. The video observation course is the most helpful out of the three. There are multiple quizzes included in each course/unit and some of them felt unnecessary. Except for the grammar course, the quiz answers were either very obvious or felt subjective. So, overall the quizzes didn't add much to the experience. Some of the video demonstrations run for 40 minutes, so prepare some popcorn in advance. Be prepared for most of the videos to be awkward and outdated; you'll notice in the short demo videos that the tutor is obviously reading from a script behind the camera, which isn't that big of a deal but for being an accredited and pricey (for some) course, the videos should probably be better rehearsed so they feel more professional. My personal tutor was Stephen and he was amazing. He returned my work with detailed feedback within 48 hours or less, even during the holidays. He was overall great and very helpful. Overall, I'd give the site a 4 out of 5 for the somewhat awkward/outdated videos but I would 10 out of 10 recommend the 120-hour package for someone who is actually devoted to teaching English as a foreign language.”

“I liked the course, I found it informative and useful. However, I do think there needs to be some mini modules on the different levels, beginner through to advanced. I felt the course delivered the what, but not necessarily the how. I am going to go on to do the more advanced courses, come February. I hope that they deliver what I'm looking for. The course was a great start, but I still feel that I need more to start on my TEFL teaching journey.”
