“I would just like to comment on my recently completed 200hr Level 5 Online TEFL Course. The course is broken down into four easily manageable sections, and more than enough time is given with which to complete. I enjoyed how informative the course was and found that it was not too overwhelming at all. It was broken down to make it easy to study, which really helped! I thought Joe was a great tutor from the videos that were available. You really do listen and pay attention when he is teaching a subject. He explains all parts of language subjects really well, helping you to retain the information. I would also like to mention Thomas Kerr, who is the TEFL Courses Academic Manager. He has been a terrific support throughout taking the online course, and really appreciate his knowledge, feedback and advice after marking the assignments. I would definitely recommend The TEFL.ORG to anyone wanting to study English, and take up teaching English in the future. Thank you so much!”

“TEFL is an organisation with many people dedicated to helping others learn, both Students and Teachers. The staff are always polite and knowledgable and always prepared to help those around them. They are also very accommodating. They were more than happy to give me additional support and adjustments after I had an accident part way through my course. I had a wonderful time working with TEFL and would highly recommend anyone to take part in a course if they are interested in teaching English!”

“I've enjoyed a very positive experience studying with TEFL. I think the way the modules are designed is really good and the videos with classroom demonstrations were really helpful. Being able to study at my own pace meant that I was able to fit learning around home and work and pick up easily where I left off. To consolidate learning I was able to move backwards at my leisure and revisit previous materials. I think some of the test questions around the Telephone Teaching module were quite ambiguous and were perhaps worded a bit clumsily. I think that a clearer distinction could be made between Telephone (audio only) and Telephone (VoIP - which might include elements of face to face teaching). Also whilst the feedback for the Methodology assignments was helpful, where part of the answer needed revisiting, then it would be more helpful to advise the student what they need to be thinking about or which part(s) of the course they might need to revisit because sometimes the feedback felt a little bit pedantic and I appreciate that this would never have been the intention of the Tutor.”

“The five stars are for the content, but I would be happier with less multiple choice questions and more other options for assessment, even if I would have to pay a higher rate. I also would recommend to offer a combination of the level 5 course with a course for practice.”

“I'm glad I chose to do my TEFL through TELF Org. I enjoyed the units and modules and feel the assignments have prepared me well for any future work I may have. The weekly live streams as well as the opportunities to find work through TEFL Org are something I appreciate. I also believe there are also teaching resources available to me if ever I need them - this may be very helpful.”

“Good organisation to support studying English and becoming a qualified English Teacher. Level 5 course I completed refreshed my knowledge of methodology from over 20 years ago. I would like to encourage TEFL to look into implementing some changes/improvements to tailor the course to the needs of neurodivergent (mature) learners and those with ADHD. I struggled with the longest and most important to me section, which was methodology. Of course, the content cannot change however you may look into introducing some ways to make this easier for neurodivergent learners. Otherwise, I thank you for allowing me to study with you.”
