“The course itself is put together well, very interactive and engaging. I did not find myself struggling to get through the content as it is structured in a way that engaged me personally. I like that each section is broken into small, compartmentalized modules that you can work through quickly while being able to return to it easily through the menu. The only real issue I had was with the audio quality of some of the classroom setting videos. Some videos required the volume to be maximized, and others were loud, requiring me to frequently have to adjust my headset.”

“I found the 120 hours a good course. I was hoping the remote teaching module was a bit more comprehensive without having to do the advanced course but overall I felt it was good value”

“I found the content relevant and easy to follow. The videos were very helpful and my tutor gave solid advice. Most of all, I appreciated the customer service! I made a typo in my email address registration and wasn't receiving emails, by the time I realized this, I was at the deadline for my course and couldn't sign in. The customer service representative who answered my email was excellent, she assured me the correction was made and gave an additional day to my extension. I appreciated the efficiency and fairness.”

“I mostly enjoyed my 120 Hour Premier Online Course. With the knowledge of there being so many TEFL scams, I enrolled through tefl.org with confidence. In many ways, in my nomadic time of taking the course, it was ideal that I could pick up where I left off at any time without worrying about time constraints. This is a great convenience to anyone who is 'on the move' and wants to progress towards teaching English as a foreign language. I'm not an English teacher, yet. But I did take a local (to Cambodia) supplemental post-TEFL fastrack course, which featured lesson planning and in classroom teaching, and I feel like my 120 hour online course served as an adequate primer to this additional course. The methodology was mostly the same, but there were some differences. I don't necessarily feel like I would have been 'classroom ready' after the completion of the course, that is, unless I had an experienced assistant present, or was an assistant myself. It's probably the common consensus that there is a disparity between online learning and in person teaching. My harshest criticisms would be (with my inevitable human bias intact): - The prompts for the written assignments varied in quality; some were clear and concise, some I felt like there was pertinent information missing - Many of the in-classroom videos were too long and felt extraneous enough to divert from the topic. For example, I found myself at times wondering "What topic are we covering here, again?". But perhaps this could cater to those who are less than familiar with being in a classroom setting like that. All said and done, though, it helped. I feel like I've accomplished and gained something; both (virtually) tangible, my credentials, and intangible; my useful, and practical knowledge of teaching methodology that I did not possess before starting the course. So thank you for that.”

“I've worked as a Chief Financial Officer for over 30 years and as my schedule has been flexible I've served as a substititue teacher at our neighborhood elementary school. My daughter has worked as a youth social worker and elementary school teacher for many years. TEFL has provided training and education for us both so that in the future we can combine our love of travel with our love of teaching children.”

“Excellent learning experience. Just a few quick things for consideration: 1) As I stated directly on the course feedback form, please review the references to Skype as a VoIP option since Microsoft has decided to discontinue that software this month (May 2025). 2) As an American, it was interesting to see prepositions used to end sentences, an incorrect sentence structure in the US... which leads me to my last area of feedback 3)Perhaps distinguising between American and UK English standards (I know they aren't the only two, but probably the most prominent) would be helpful. Recognizing that the curriculum may be catered towards the CEFR, I just wanted to suggest having a short video on that distinction and as teachers, especially ones focused on US Business English, certain UK spellings and grammar structures may need to be taught differently if the student is working for an American-based company or if the US market is their audience- not a big deal, just food for thought. Overall, an excellent framework which can be accomplished at a reasonable pace. My tutor, Asif, was also very insightful and ensured I mastered the materials. Lastly, your customer service and responsiveness was amazing! I submitted question via Chat and email. The questions and follow ups were answered in a very timely manner with excellent professionalism. Thanks a million!”
