I ordered your dementia day clock for my mum and it was delivered super fast. Having had the standard dementia clock for just over 3 years, the ability to just have It is Wednesday night etc is great. She was getting confused with 10am and 10pm, so was thinking it was 2pm at 2am. She also lost the ability to understand a 24 hour clock format. This simple thing allows my mum to know it is night time, then she looks at her favourite old clock and between the two she works out if its bedtime or morning. That's 3 weeks of me not being called at 2am in the morning.... 😁 Mums sleeping pattern is much better and that's having an overall improvement on her wellbeing.

Excellent device which really helps me look after my 85 year old Mother with vascular dementia. She really likes going out several times a day and wandering around - luckily this tracker attaches to her keys and lets me monitor her movements and find her if there is any difficulty… It’s already saved her a couple of times in the first week of using it and I highly recommend it for anyone with the same situation.

My only issue is the alert sound is not loud enough so if your relative goes out at night when you are asleep it would not wake you so you would not be aware they had gone out till you woke up in the morning

Outstanding customer service and satisfaction, The other day I found myself worried that my mothers tracker had a problem after not picking up on a sate-a-light. Thank goodness we bought our tracker from Techsilver and not another email only communication company, (we have all been there) I phoned the help line & straight through to Aaron, a caring member of the back up customer service team to talk to. He immediately took over the tracker to check the system making sure everything was working and safe.He said they can sort it out from their end and to wait for instructions from him, with in the hour. I had a phone call and email with written instructions, as a customer looking after Alzheimer's/dementia is stressful enough, but the support of tech silver technical support team is invaluable. Thank you for be there. This company go above and beyond the normal expectations with customer service and satisfaction. I can not speak highly enough of this company, personal service & a Company with old fashioned standards & values in a modern day tech world we live in. Nobody likes problems or something that's not functioning correctly, but keep calm, talk nicely to Techsilver they will do all they can do in their remit to help you. As I have said to talk to someone human on the phone, sorts problems quicker than 10 emails. Generally its operator error but this time it wasn't. So thank you Aaron for sorting things so quickly your end.

This music machine absolutely delighted my 91-year-old father who has Alzheimer's. He very quickly learned to switch it on and off so that was great. The main reason I do not give it 5/5 is that the volume control is very unsophisticated - great idea to have it hidden and use of it is really easy but it is just not sensitive enough: either the music is too soft or too loud and both are a real issue as you will appreciate.

Techsilver GPS Tracker- Good Points: Looks attractive. My partner loves wearing it as a piece of jewellery It's great to be able to contact my partner, who has Alzheimer's if I need to pop out to the shop. Tracking may well come in handy at some point. Charges quickly. Neutral Points: The chain makes a distinctive noise when rubbing against the fitting of the device- my partner quite likes this -but others may not. Not-so-good points: The subscription charge is pretty high at £15 per month and is required for the device to be of any use. The desktop app is very poor. If the person wearing the monitor is reasonably active, the battery charge will only last about 9 hours. This means that the device may need to be charged to be charged twice daily. The tracker function can be unreliable on short trips. Sometimes It only starts working after about 5 minutes of movement. (This is due to a limitation of the GPS rather than this specific tracker) This means that if the person goes to a local shop, stays there a short while and then returns home, the tracker may show them as still being in the shop. The Charging point is very fiddly to use. The emergency button enabling my partner to contact me is very small and very tricky to use for a person with Alzheimer's. Conclusion: Useful if you can charge it once or twice a day. If that doesn't work for you, the more expensive tracker with a longer battery life may be a better option.

The product is one of the best on the market for the various functions it has available. The only problem there has been thete is a long time delay at times to the current location on the tracker. Despite a one minute refresh.

Pleased with product, only downside is the life of the battery, runs flat within four days or so Delivery was very quick and instruction video was adequate.

Hi there, Thanks so much for your feedback. It it was the GPS tracker keyring/necklace that your purchased, the expected battery life is advertised as 3-5 days. This battery life is dependant upon how often it is used and the frequency of updates (e.g. every 60 seconds). If viable, we recommend adjusting the tracker to update less frequently to prolong the battery life. If it was the waterproof tracker, this has an extended battery life of 2 weeks and so should be functioning around this period. The product itself is brilliant. My concern is that my Mum keeps removing it from her keyring so I have no way of knowing where she is. Very frustrating!

I originally ordered the GPS keyring tracker which I found to be compact, simple to use and the set-up was easy by following the set-up video. However, my husband has Alzheimer’s, and in my circumstances the 60 seconds update was the most suitable but it meant that the tracker had to be charged up every night. I was advised by Aaron at Techsilver that the Waterproof GPS tracker might be more suitable as it has a longer battery life. I returned the original tracker and ordered the Waterproof Tracker. This tracker is equally easy to use and set up. It is slightly bigger but still not cumbersome and the battery life is much better – worth the extra cost. Throughout all of this I found the customer service to be excellent – quick responses to emails and very patient.
