“In my opinion H&S is the most boring subject to learn, but Bill Hughes made it really interesting to learn and to understand the importance of H&S. All credits to him!”

“I took an online course with Richard Marsh. He was a very good tutor that always tried to make sure that everyone understood the material. Especially, as a non-native speaker, he always tried to take me along and make sure that I could follow the material. In addition to that, he was always able to answer the participants' questions competently.”

“The joining instructions, where a form had to be completed, only arrived just before the course started. This could have been sent a few days before. The fact it arrived so late, meant some candidates hadn't populated it, which caused the start of the training to be delayed. The trainer also wasn't clear when breaks would be, at one point we didn't have a break for 3 hours (between 10am and 1pm), meaning one candidate had to ask to go to the toilet and another had to ask when we would be able to have lunch. This length of time between breaks, will mean people will switch off and not take in the course content. The trainer was also not clear with what to do after we had completed the exam, several questions had to be asked for it to be clear. The trainer also impied it was compulsory to complete the review.”

Joining Instructions are issued automatically when the course is booked to the email address provided with the Delegate Information Form. Occasionally the email will be sent to the individual making the booking and the delay in receipt by the delegate is out of our control. Setting out of breaks may be approximate and dependent on the pace, the group or the subject being covered whilst accommodating the comfort of our delegates. “Tim was excellent presenter and knows his subject inside out. I was able to relate my various work experiences to his presentation as I initially worked in these areas years ago and also to my much later current work which now includes PCTWC duties. His presentation was also an excellent update for me at the end of of my career to keep me up to date following 2019 standard. Main thing I took away was his very practicable advice on many current problems and having good professional relationships with the wider team to plan ahead. We no longer rely on the General Foreman's experience and the Temporary Works Engineer Checks and signing the TW Certificate. Tim's presentation was up to date for the current market with plenty of sensible advice on what was cost effective while efficient and effective and importance of visiting site to get a better fuller picture of the scope. Tim's presentation style was entertaining and the type of crack you want. PS zoom issue sorted practically and promptly”

“The Course was a very good overview of Environmental areas and the course material is excellent. The Trainer brought in a number of real life anecdotes and incidents to illustrate the topics, inviting participation of the students from their own projects, making the sessions interactive & memorable. Recommended as an introduction and induction to principles of sustainability.”
