“Great price and quick delivery to my home, I was suposed to receive a call from the driver one hour before delivery this never happened.”

Thanks for your feedback. Most sanitaryware items are supplied without considerable packaging from the manufacturers - It is not unusual for a basin or toilet pan to be supplied with shrink wrap at most. Since they are unsuitable for transport by regular parcel couriers, we use specialist delivery services to minimise the risk of damage in transit.

“Ordered a Grohe Zedra tap in March. Arrived within a couple of days. No problem. Unfortunately due to our house sale falling through, an eventual purchase of another property and arranging builders etc the plumber removed the item from the box and attempted to fit the tap 25th October. Unfortunately the tap spout that supposedly push fits onto the main body (YouTube video shows this as a simple push fit) will not push down flush with the body. I have tried to call Taps Empire numerous times, office closed. I have also emailed them, no response! I have contacted the manufacturers and it appears there may be a manufacturing fault? Can someone from Taps Empire please respond and not state your 14 day return policy which I’m fully aware of but offer some assistance with an exchange or other suitable option? Than you.”

“Good product and fast delivery. However, not enough info on site about product (type of fitting, suitability etc.) i.e. my tap (excellent value) was not suited for fitting to a standard 40mm worktop. Customer service were of no help with the problem.”

“Excellent service from taps empire. Provided the tap direct from the supplier. Very helpful staff when I called them. An issue though with the delivery. UPS put a card through the wrong door when they tried to deliver. Box is quite clearly marked with the correct address but for some reason they thought it appropriate to deliver to an address on the opposite of the street and several houses down. Thankful my neighbour checked the qr code and posted the card through my door. A great deal of hassle could have been avoided if the driver had looked at the address properly.”

“Purchased taps and showers for five bathrooms so far from Taps Empire and service and delivery were great until most recent order. The tap lever was unsuitable for the installation site so I wanted to exchange for a different style. The tap was delivered later than expected (after 6pm) and I had departed on a business trip overseas. When I asked to exchange the item when I returned from my trip I was told I had exceeded the 14 day returns period (17 days) Whilst I respect their clear returns policy, it is difficult to return an item if you are not at home to do so, the item was delivered after the end of the working day and a day later than anticipated. Had I known the tap would be delivered so late in the day I would have postponed delivery until I returned. Needless to say I will not be purchasing from Taps Empire in the future. On the upside, prices are good, delivery is fairly quick and they replaced a damaged tap that was delivered promptly.”

“Sorry I am disappointed with the after sales service. The pop up waste plug is not fit for purpose it does not hold water in sink. It was professionally fitted and yet the chap on the phone implied it may have been the wrong size for the sink. The builder I use only employes qualified fitters who assures me this is not the case. He promptly gave me the Grohe helpline. I may return this item”
