“I am sticking with this because my vetinary nurses have said how good this food is, but my dog is barely losing any weight and I am having to reduce the amount I feel her myself”

“Have been a tails customer for a long time now. It was great and the dog loves the food, however, recently I’ve had some issues with delivery and the prices keep going up so I’m now over £70 a month which is very expensive. We used to get a free gift sometimes with our order but that never happens anymore either, I think this would be a great idea for a long running customer!”

“Food is ok, bit monotonous, even with the varieties. There is too much overpriced Kibble in the deal and you cannot lower size it or skip the kibble (I suspect this is where their huge mark up comes from so they protect it). It's well packaged and delivered ok though.”

“I find tails.com is good, though a wee bit expensive. Delivery is on time always. The down side is it does not provide just wet food. I've had 3 orders. My dog is such a fussy eater and does not always eat the recommended amount so have lots left over.”
We're sorry to hear your dog's food isn't lasting quite as it should, Jay. The food we send out should be lasting 31 days so if it's lasting longer than expected, we're really like to have a look into this for you. We can look at reducing the amount of dry food we send out to match how much your dog is actually eating - this should prevent you from having such a backlog of dry food each month.

“Our NSDTR has a delicate tum and recurring Pancreatitus. Our vet recommended Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dry diet. The food was quite bland with few recognisable ingredients and after 18 months our hound developed some issues with it and had put on weight. We happened on Tails and asked if they had a ‘hypoallergenic’ food? They recommended a formula for our boy which he is mad for! Poops are solid 😁 and he’s lost 4kg and is in really lovely condition as confirmed by our vet on last visit (he checked the ‘natural’ ingredients and mix and said the Tails was fine). Elvis also loves the chicken treats.”

“The service and food is brilliant, no problem with changing deliveries to suit my furr baby needs. My boy is always healthy and not stinky on this food, so meets his needs well.
The only one thing is it comes in a plastic bag, non recyclable as far as i can see.. so it would be good if Tails looked into a more eco-friendly packaging or a refill system”

“The food was amazing for my dog! She loved it, it sorted all her digestion problems out. The only problems were that it was never on time and way over priced for what you get in a bag.”
“Overall, I am fairly satisfied. My *** rating reflects a couple of concerns regarding the dry food. Lucy really liked the first delivery, but is not so keen on the second. I noticed the second delivery looked quite different to the first and there is less variety in the mix. My second concern is the size of the bag. Based on the recommended quantity for Lucy, which is 150g per meal, a bag is going to last much longer than a month.”
“You are always ahead of time asking if the scheduled delivery of his food. This may seem trivial but with his condition EPI it is vital that his diet is constant and it is one less thing to worry about.”

We do offer DPD as an alternative to our free deliveries with Yodel in most parts of the UK, so if you'd prefer to use them it's an easy switch.

You can NEVER get anyone to speak to or call you back.
