“Meg is brilliant, she understands that both myself and my partner have different skill levels and she is able give us both equal attention. She is patient and caring .
The price is competitive, worth every penny. Being able to “bank” lessons if missed. So far we are very happy”
“Booked the lesson after seeing an advert on the Internet. But a taster 30min lesson for £35 & paid there an then, the lesson would be in 2 weeks time. Lesson ended up getting cancelled and Re scheduled, no doubt will get cancelled for a 3rd and final time????”
“We bought an introductory lesson and, whilst the instructor was very pleasant, it did not really fulfill our needs unfortunately. We are both decent swimmers looking to improve whilst avoiding further injury and, although this was explained to the very pleasant gentleman who contacted me initially, it did not appear to have been communicated to the instructor. As a result, we both felt it was rather a waste of time and money for us. Probably better for beginner swimmers.”
“I love the one to one. It is through this that I am making so much progress. The environment at Everlast is very good and I am enjoying the experience very much.”
“My son started in November last year and has come a long way. Megan who teaches at Rudding Park is brilliant, patient and accommodating. In my sons own words...' she understands my abilities and finds many different ways to help me improve. She has a great personality and couldn't be a better teacher'..”
“I am a middle aged man with a water phobia from childhood, I have tried to learn to swim many times throughout my life, now being a grandad I resolved to try again and my wife bought me lessons with swimnow, I am being taught by Megan, she has been incredibly supportive with me on my journey, I look forward to my weekly lesson and being in the water, am nearly there with the breast stroke now and happy to recommend both the company and instructor to anyone in my position.”
“Joseph really enjoys his weekly swimming lessons with Megan. He works hard & has improved significantly but also has fun in his lessons too.
Thanks Megan!”
“I joined swimming lessons about few months ago and I think SwimNow made the best decision to choose Rudding Harrogate Spa staff is lovely and the place is nice clean, calm and organised.
I used to be so scared of water but Megan made it so easy for me. Being an adult learner is not an easy job as we are so stuck in our own ways in our bodies it’s hard to relax and learn new things. Megan helped me to learn how to breathe in the water, how to balance, float, with all her calm talk and different techniques and encouragement, I feel confident going into the water and I can now breathe easily in the swimming pool.
I have actually started to enjoy staying in the water and can’t wait to learn to swim with full confidence. Megan is an amazing teacher strongly recommend her.”
“I signed up for lessons in Leicester with Andy. He’s been such a great instructor. I was afraid of the water at the beginning but he was very friendly, very professional and very patient which made me more confident in the water. So far, I’ve managed to swim backstroke, front crawl and breaststroke, so thanks to Andy and the swim now!”
“Andy is an excellent teacher. My granddaughter has already learnt so much in just a few lessons and she is very confident in the water. Every week she can't wait for her next lesson.”
“I signed up for lessons in Durham, sadly my first teacher left the company after my holiday i met Chris - he is very friendly, patient and professional. I’m a difficult beginner student-low on water confidence but he makes me feel very safe and helps me feel that I can achieve my personal goals. I’ve only had 5 lessons with Chris but I feel more comfortable and safe in the water than I ever have. The pool at the Raddison Blu hotel in Durham is clean and a pleasant atmosphere to learn in. The lessons are expensive I have to say, however the tuition is high quality, completely one to one in pleasant spa surroundings (much better than group lessons I’ve tried previously) with a well qualified teacher -if I can afford to I hope to continue learning with him”
“I could already swim but want to snorkle but couldn’t find specific lessons regarding snorkling. My main problem was I didn’t like putting my head below water, I was afraid! Pete soon built up my confidence using just goggles and soon I could see underwater. He also taught me breast stroke so I could swim quitley around the fish. I’ve just returned from a holiday and went snorkling a few times. I’ve attached a photo I took snorkling”
“My instructor, pete, is a very patient instructor. He would explain every move patiently, as English was not my first language, he would explain the moves patiently and speak at a slower pace. Even though I did a lot of moves wrong, he would encourage me to keep trying and would correct my mistakes as well. Besides that he was very enthusiastic and made me very interested in swimming”
