I feel very scammed by this company. I made an enquiry about swimming lessons for my twins, and was bombarded with texts and calls from several different members. When I spoke to one (L, let's call him), he was very slippery about packages and costs but I said I needed a price to decide whether to book and managed to pin him to £45 for a taster lesson for the twins and £50/lesson for them for 6 lessons going forward. He even emphasised that was their price for 2 to 1 lessons. He wouldn't put anything in writing though, despite me asking over text and on the phone to have a written quote. I told him that was the top of our budget so I would consider it with my partner. We decided to go ahead and then there was more dodgy scam-feeling vibes as I struggled to get hold of yet another staff member to book. I went over prices again with her and made the booking - she only let me book the taster and said someone would be in touch for me to book the real lessons after the taster. This should have rung alarm bells. The lesson was really well taught, the teacher was amazing, and unfortunately I might have been a bit too effusive with my praise because the next thing I knew the 'area manager' had called me with a whole new set of prices, quoting £60 instead of £50 a lesson. He was absolutely insistent that this was their prices and kept dodging my questions when I asked if they had changed since I spoke to his colleague. He just kept repeating that these were their prices. I feel as if luring me in with the taster and the verbal quote and then whacking up the prices when you really book is part of their MO. It leaves a really nasty taste in the mouth. I would like my children to work with the brilliant teacher they contracted but I feel very scammed by the whole thing. Approach with caution.

At 61 and impending retirement I decided to finally get my swimming phobia resolved. Years of avoiding water and not enjoying family holidays due to water avoidance is now dead. The 1 - 1 teaching has been excellent. Natalie quickly identified my weakness and has taught me how to swim backwards in 5 lessons.  Her quick analysis has allowed me to be more confident in the water and I fully expect to be to swimming fully when my course of lesson is complete. This has been an excellent experience and I cannot thank Natalie enough for her patients and expertise. I highly recommend these 1 - 1 swimming lesson and Natalie as a teacher. Patrick

I made an inquiry with swimnow about swimming lessons. I did not find the Customer Service person helpful at all. She said for 30 minute lessons per week for a whole month it cost £199.00 and them if wanted 1 hour per week it would cost £370.00 and said there was nothing in my local area for lessons.

I’m 46 years old. It’s never too late. I had my first lesson today with one of Swimnow’s instructors. Worth going just to hang out at the plush hotel 😂. But seriously, Chang, my instructor was excellent and really helped me to start getting over my childhood trauma of having buckets of water thrown over my head by simply reminding me of what I’m supposed to be doing instead of remembering the past trauma which was causing the panic. By the end of the first taster lesson I was swimming 10m with noodles and a float. Dunking my head in the water without to much stress or anxiety, big thanks to Natalie for organising it and Chang for being soo calm and patient. You guys are the best!!

I can't recommend Andy the instructor highly enough. Made the whole journey for a poor swimmer, who was exhausted after a length of the pool, to one who was able to speak coherently after a number of lengths. Many thanks once again.

It was a great experience to do this swimming lessons. I'm a complete beginner for a start, gained my confidence in waters and so far I learned different strokes and hopefully just keep building them up. Kudos to my instructor Ian, who was so patient throughout the lessons.

Andy is an absolutely phenomenal swimming instructor from Swim now! We couldn't be happier with the progress our daughter has made under his guidance. When she started, she was a complete beginner, quite nervous about getting in the water. Andy's patience, calm demeanor, and incredibly encouraging approach completely transformed her experience. He has a remarkable ability to connect with children, making every lesson fun and engaging. Our daughter looked forward to every session with Andy, and it was clear he genuinely cared about her development and confidence. He broke down each skill into manageable steps, celebrated every small victory, and always made her feel safe and supported. Watching her go from being hesitant to confidently swimming and loving the water has been truly amazing. We highly recommend Andy to any parent looking for an exceptional swimming instructor. He's not just teaching a skill; he's fostering a love for the water and building incredible confidence!

Amanda is teaching my son how to swim and that in itself is a challenge! He's 15 and has only been allowed in water since April this year as he has had a tracheostomy all his life. Today she got in the water with him and guided him as he is petrified. I cannot thank her enough he came away with a smile on his face.

Sarah at Everlast Lincoln is a magician She has taken a 64 year old from nothing to swimming in 6 weeks. Her attention to your hurdles is superb ( never pushing too far and willing to discuss and work around your issues as required) I did not have a fear of water but when I could actually swim I still had a major problem in starting under my own steam. Using a variety of methods we finally overcame my problem and guess what I CAN SWIM 🏊‍♂️ 🥳 I can’t recommend her highly enough. For anyone out there considering one to one lessons go to Lincoln, Sarah will get you confident and swimming in no time Thanks to all Mark Dodson

My daughter has been having lessons with Stanislava after a poor experience in a leisure centre group. Stanislava has so much patience and listens to my daughter if she isn't sure about something. Stanislave has worked at my daughters pace to help her learn the movements in the water. My daughters loves her weekly lesson and her confidence is growing rapidly as is her swimming ability. I am delighted we took the leap and would recommend Stanislava very highly!

My partner and I can both swim at different levels. We wanted a block of lessons to look at and improve our technique so we can swim more efficiently. Our instructor Steven has been absolutely brilliant! We've picked up so many improvement techniques that we simply couldn't have done without the lessons. He's taught us drills that we can incorporate into our swim sessions to improve fitness as well as technique too. If anyone is considering Swim Now, I would highly recommend. Whatever level you're at, be it complete beginner or improver, just go for it!

My son has been having swim lessons with Stanislava at the Culloden in Belfast. The lessons are tailor made to suit the needs of the new swimmer. Stanislava has been amazing. She has made the lessons fun and enjoyable for my son. You can really see the improvement from the first week. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about joining swim now in Belfast to give it a go.

SwimNow booked on a taster session at a pool which was known to be closed at the time they did the booking and remains closed. I have requested a refund but Swim Now have not responded to either my email, voicemail or WhatsApp. Very disappointing.

I started my lessons at 70 and found ALISHA to be wonderful, she was supportive, her communication was clear and she also ensured she was so patient and caring. I was extremely anxious and she did everything to put me at ease. I have given her 5 stars as she really deserves that The downside was the pool was often busy and as she did not have access to a roped off lane it was impossible for her to show me what to do and help me do it, without other swimmers bumping into me This often impacted rhe lesson
