“I would not purchase from this company very poor….. like unbelievably terrible service …..we orders heaters realised they were incorrect . Tried to return them and was told no or “well you will have to get them to us “
After paying a substantial amount for the products this is the service I don’t expect . There’s a consumer rights act that is a law which needs to be followed yet this company are essentially breaking the law by asking me to pay for the return . I will continue to leave reviews unless I’m compensated for the way we have been spoken to and also been left with “just deal with it” attitude”
Hi Deborah, our apologies for the experience you have had shopping with us. Having discussed the issue with the Customer Services department, I believe there has been quite a fundamental misunderstanding of the size of the units we sell.
All our measurements are listed on our website in millimetres (mm), as is standard for domestic goods in the UK. So for example, the 2.4kW Ionis Bar Heater you ordered is listed as 1561 x 150 x 67mm. In centimetres, this equates to 156.1 x 15 x 6.7cm, so just over 1.5m in length, and this is the size of the unit we have supplied to you. It seems however, that you believe there is an error on our site and that we have incorrectly used mm instead of cm. If the heater was 1561cm long (using cm instead of mm), that would equate to over 15 metres in length, which is longer than the length of most houses in the UK.
In line with company policy, you are well within your rights to return the heater within 14 days of receiving it, as per the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013. However, as we are not responsible for the error, the cost of the return falls onto the customer.
Surya Heating is the retail trading name of Mirrorstone Heating, and all accounts go through the Mirrorstone name, hence the confusion about the team you have been speaking with. Please rest assured that Mirrorstone and Surya Heating are the same company, and again, having separate trading brands is relatively standard practice for many businesses (for example, just like Alphabet is the parent company of Google, Mirrorstone is the parent company of Surya Heating).

“Excellent delivery to the north of Scotland at no extra cost. The grade A stock that I purchased was in perfect condition as far as I could see. The grade B stock had minimal damage to one corner barely visible when mounted.

Really pleased with the 2.4Kw heater with remote and WiFi. I did contact Surya by WhatsApp and the did reply very quickly as I wanted a professional opinion on the unit I was interested in. I ordered the one I needed and it arrived by FedEx dead on time next day. The heater was easy to install and the manual was easy to follow.

“Really nice and clean looking. I have my 1200w IR remote/wi-fi heater mounted above the door in my conservatory and the heat from it is very pleasant. Though I have to say that it works better when I have the ceiling fan switched off, even though IR heat is not supposed to be affected by air movement. One suggestion is that perhaps you could offer a longer cable/plug option. The 3metre tail supplied just isn't long enough since most 13amp sockets are at near ground level.”
