“I have in the past few days received a Mirrorstone Ionis 1.2kW WiFi IR heater from Surya Heating, and have installed it in my workshop. I am very impressed.
The heater arrived sooner than promised. Once installed I needed to email Surya to ask how to change the temperature display to Celsius, and I got a reply within in a few minutes. Very good customer service.
The heater's construction is very high quality, it feels very solid. And it looks good. I wanted to attach it to the robust vertical supports behind the workshop wall, and I could, because the heater design allows you to position the supports anywhere (within reason).
The heater seems to work very well and provides pleanty of warmth, even at half power, in my relatively small workshop. Although cold weather has yet to arrive.
I have just managed to make the connection to the wireless network via the SmartLife app. It wasn't very easy, but seems ok once it is going.
So I am very satisfied, and am defilnetly a convert to IR heating.
I would remark that the manual could be clearer in places. And there is nothing to remind the unwary that the remote control battery must be activated before it will work. Also, I would like to be able to activate movement detection while on low power; it seems to revert to full power whenever movement detection is switched on.
But not withstanding all that, I am delighted.”

“I waited in all day yesterday for a delivery that didnt arrive . i even rang at 1pm for a update and was told it was due to be delivered by 12.45pm but must be running late”

“I’ve not tried to heaters yet as they not installed but so far 5* for customer service I ordered then changed then returned to my original (miscommunication with contractor) They took it in their stride and arrived following day. I’ll review heaters when installed”

“I ordered the heater in white, I can understand why the control panel is in black rather than white as well but it would have been easy to use white cable and plug as a better match.”
