“At 1st we didn’t think the portable radiator was working & was going to return it, we gave it a chance putting it in our cold conservatory. After a few hours we could feel the difference & no longer cold. My only gripe is no temp control is it’s either in or off!”
Thank you for your review, having looked at your order, I can see that you've bought a 350W Classic Portable IR Panel. For any conservatory, we'd recommend going higher than a 350W panel, as the heat loss in conservatories is exceptionally high compared to other areas. We do also have our Portable Nexus IR Panels that come with remote controls, and as you ordered on 8th Jan, there is still time to exchange for a different panel if you would like to get a heater that's better suited to your space. “To be honest I was expecting instant heat like a patio heater this wasn't the case, it takes time to warm up and it only heats things directly bang smack in front. If you are sitting slightly to the side of it you won't feel it. Overall I'm a bit disappointed in this”

If you were after instant heat, then I'd recommend one of our actual patio heaters, such as our Theia or Athena Bar Heaters. “Delivery was next day, it was easy to install, I know I ordered the non Wifi version, but there was no remote in the box and there is no thermostat display or means of controling the temprature, so it seriously hot all the time, so have to keep swiching it off.
I even read the instructions first. Am I missing something?”
Hi Richard, thanks for your review! In response to your query, the non-Wi-Fi models don't come with a remote control, and are designed to be used as on/off heaters, or by hardwiring them to an external thermostat. The instruction manual covers both the non-Wi-Fi and the remote control Wi-Fi models, hence why you've read about the remote control functions. “This is the second purchase I have made from Surya and unfortunately has been less positive than the first. Likely due to the item purchased being a clearance item, this appears to have been missed and required chasing by myself 3 times before rectified.
Due to the particular item being out of stock from clearance warehouse, I have been offered a new model which is appreciated.
If I was to offer feedback, it would be for the same attention to detail is given to clearance as new stock.
I would still purchase from Surya again.”
