“I have been a member for 10 years. On th 2 occasions I broke down start. Rescue were quick to respond and very helpful, even called me when I was back on the road to make sure everything was okay. My husband is a driving instructor and recommends start rescue to all his pupils when they pass”

“So, I've only just joined but was led to do so by the ease of securing a dependable quote, the helpfulness of the (human) customer service assistant (UK based) and the excellent and easy to use website. Having a current and classic car can result in odd and inconsistent quotes emerging on Go Compare as was the case with Green Flag (my current provider) but no matter which car I detailed the Start Rescue quote was consistent throughout. The quote was reasonable unlike the Green Flag quote that went up 22% despite not having used their service. They 'retracted this increase but too late was the cry'. Encouraged by the quote from Start, I then sought out a personal cover quote but, just to make sure there was no chance of them wriggling out of providing cover if I need to use them in anger, I rang the customer services department. Straight through to a human, reassurances given without onerous conditions, and good advice to complete the application online to avoid her having to rattle through minutes of legalise. A great start, but the acid test will be what happens if I need to contact them at the roadside. Here's hoping.”
