“Competitive prices, easy to use website, I use them for motorcycle and car breakdown and so far so good. I’ll reserve anything more than 4 stars until I have a breakdown. They did dupe me into paying for European travel insurance a few years ago and because they provide motorcycle breakdown it didnt cross my mind to check that the travel insurance covered Europe. Guess what, it didnt, they impose a 125cc restriction on European motorcycle cover, and all of my bikes are well over 125cc!”

“Purchased because of the offer, the price and the service. Had need to call them last October 2024 and the service, mainly punctuality was second to none. Required a low loader to take me 45 miles to my home. From the initial phone call to getting home was under two hours. The driver was five out of five. Very understanding ad helpful Unbeatable service.”

“I have been with start rescue for 3 years and have been rescued once when I had a tyre shred on the A1M in Yorkshire in 2023. That went smoothly and the car was taken to a Kwikfit were the tyre was changed. I bought a new car in Sept. 2025 and as my policy is due for renewal I have opted for the same cover but have taken the 30 pounds excess policy, hoping having a new car I will not need to be rescued in the near future. My calls to the two operators who helped me change the cover to my new car were very helpful and part of the reason I decided to stay with Start Rescue.”

“I’ve always had Start Rescue up until I purchased a car and RAC was included for a year, the price RAC quoted was far more than start rescue so I’ve returned, if I’ve needed to call out the mechanics are so obliging”
