“I moved to Start Rescue two years ago due to a strong recommendation by 'Which?', plus a very competitive price. I have needed a call-out on just one occasion, when my clutch failed in slow-moving traffic on the A12, and a recovery truck was with me in thirty minutes. I was pretty impressed with that, and the renewal price was still great value.”

“The main selling point was how great value for money it was compared to the bigger boys, but unfortunately despite not making any call outs again this year, the cost has basically doubled. So any enthusiasm and good will is now gone.”

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The price of a Start Rescue policy is based on the age and type of vehicle and the level of cover you have chosen. Rewarding loyalty is something that is very important to us and we do so for every Start Rescue customer by automatically including savings in your renewal quote, meaning that renewing customers will never pay more than our standard website retail prices. Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We took the step last year to be more transparent to customers, with regards to the fees that we apply to policies. The arrangement and administration fee is for administering your policy and handling breakdown claims, instead of, or in addition to receiving commission from the insurer. We collect our fee within the same transaction, as we used to, but now detail our fee within the breakdown of the price you will pay. “I'm coming into my second year now with start Rescue. They are absolutely spot on. I broke down with my nissan qashqai earlier this year and it was in the early hours of the morning just as i finished work. So i got in touch with start gave them my account details. We had good communications threw out recovery process. And I was recoverd back home no problem. I also had the option of having my car recovered to a garage near to my home. Five stars from me Absolutely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
